Sneaky dev. Long waits for small updates became the new norm. It was supposed to be a one time thing, because of the unity migration.
I don't know now, maybe I'm thinking of a different game.

I'm just glad I stopped support after the last disappointing update, don't need a game that has 2 minutes gameplay or holding hands stuff, he should have kept it simple and not that many paths.

But if I don't have multiple paths and introduce multiple characters, how else can I pad content and string people along?

That's just the first excuse, to test the waters: if their subscribers are happy waiting even longer for the same amount of content, the dev practically has no incentive to keep their monthly schedule anymore.
Is it scummy? Yes. But unsubscribing is the only message they understand.

I know that some developers have given us bad experiences in this regard and longer intervals between updates are generally a bad sign, but it's still early to call this developer a scammer or milker. Yes, this update is taking longer than the previous ones, but still it's only been two months. If this update is going to be good, that's still a reasonable amount of time. Wait for the update first, and then criticize it if it's short and bad.
Wtf is going on with this game? they usually came out with updates regularly even if they where short, over 2 Months now and nothing?

Yes, unless there is just one path, these games become more time consuming to update. Some devs then just focus on one path per update. Personally, I find that annoying as it makes things disjointed. Many players demand choices and get bent if there aren’t any. Well, you want choice, then you want more than one path and it will take longer to produce. Really, devs can’t win no matter what they do. Granted, a few do seem to abuse their subs, but that is up to the subs, right? Unfortunately, almost every dev gets the same treatment if there’s a delay.

No really not being sarcastic. Glad to hear there's debate behind the scenes as to the overall story direction.
The developer ventured into too many paths and subpaths. After the first few releases, I noticed he was quite optimistic at that time. However, implementing all the different flavors of cuckolding and fetishes is very time consuming. As a result, the story’s consistency suffers, and the developer may end up rushing events, leading to mistakes and breaking the mood due to lack of attention to certain paths.
