Agreed. There is no reason why they all need to be there. Chuck could have just recorded and then all could have just shared it with each other and let bella know they all know. It would have felt far more intimate in the scene just two people being naked and one recording it. At the same time bella could have been far more secure knowing it's just having chemistry with carter first, then they can all convince her to do it in front of others just like in a set once she is completely in tune with the costar.

My biggest gripe is. The progression seemingly too quick was great and not so great at the same time. Great because things happen in this game and that's always a good thing. But unlike the setup where roy went 3 dates, holding hands, licking fingers, wearing no bras, then kissing and fondling but still bella protested and the thing that was great is except roy nobody including the mc don't know whats gonna happen there. But here everybody is all too passive. Carter wants it. So do our guys. And so does bella. And more so important, it was supposed to be intimacy right? Like how roy was with bella's boobs but here both naked, in position, lifting her up, rubbing genitals and even Cumming? It seemed too hardcore too quick.

The reason why everyone was watching is cause she's supposed to be doing this in front of everyone on a set. I expect most of scenes with Carter to be in the set of the tv show or w/e. That in itself is a pretty unique type of scenario.

My guess would be the vast majority will be carter events and that will be the main progression (which on certain paths player can opt out) - then along with that smaller 'side' events like dates with Roy or randoms. Also guessing on cheat path the skuzzy old producer will make a return. Good for your tastes, bad for mine.

Given Carter’s celebrity status and overall presence, my initial impression was that he would take on the dominant alpha male role, alongside the producer, especially since the producer also mentioned he'd be acting. Roy seemed more like a supporting figure. Besides, in the last update, Roy came across a bit weak in terms of male presence, more like harmlessly barking from the sidelines making him less important, which only made Carter’s masculinity stand out even more.

As for other people being there, I take it as a practise thing. It's not like Bella will be acting behind closed doors but a lot of people. Roy does seem like a voyeur but whenever he is the one "taking" on Bella, he does seem dominant, especially in the Beta path where he kissed Bella in a provocative manner to rile up MC's jealousy. In ntr path, he seems to serve as a antagonist but in loyal path he seems to know he should stay in his lane. It all just seem to depend on MC's attitude.

To me personally, this is predominantly a texting game anyway. And I like it for that because the developers care for perfecting all aspects of it. With carter the whole video call thing was iffy at best. The whole escalation thing we are all griping about could have been far more effective if bella and carter just texted stuff and talked about it. Like, horny talk and exchanging nudes as in roleplay for the characters. IMO, in the devs pov, what I seem to believe is that, as we the players want to see bella getting fukd they didn't mind who it happens with. Maybe I am an idiot. Sure. You have a point. There could have been more build up rather than seeing it as one above the other. But now that things are going this way, I hope there will be some connection build up in the future where they connect more with each other while doing these intimate scenes.

Sure, the 'sweet spot' is what id consider the most canon play, and probably what I'd naturally pick.
