Damn, almost no mention of Morgana in the patch notes, and what little there is involves removing her backstory. Just kind of reinforces the idea that the corruption storyline is getting axed and Morgana is being relegated to nothing more than an npc behind a potion shop.

That's a shame, considering that Morgana's corruption of the prince was the entire backbone and conflict that made the game interesting in the first place. Now there's just no conflict anymore, which makes for a dull story. Morgana apparently feels guilty all of a sudden and drops the facade and the prince just decides that he's cool with it. To boot, everyone who finds out seems to be on board with the prince becoming a girl, even the priest, who's kind of the poster child of all this, after being completely rewritten to now love and support whatever debauchery the prince is getting up to.

Part of me wants to believe that the work-in-progress choice of rejecting Morgana when she asks you to become a princess has potential for returning to a more Morgana-focused corruption path. My hopes for this actually being the case is rather low, but I'm curious about what the dev is actually thinking for that route.

So, I haven’t been keeping up with updates. Now I’m playing it, and what started as a solid premise of corruption and sissification has devolved into this soy, soft-padded-helmet crap of love, friendship, and unicorns shitting rainbows.
Sorry, but when a bandit who was originally written as dominant shows up with:

"I only have one request… I want to use you. You know, sexually… if that would be okay with you…"

before fucking what is at this point a whore to him, I’m out.

Another Patreon I shouldn’t have backed.

Scat and bestiality now count as "soy and soft-padded"? I swear, coomers are getting more radical by the minute. :whistle:

I haven't played the game recently so I can't comment whether there is really this huge shift in content or it's just commentors overreacting (probably 50/50, or 70/30 :LOL: ), but can I just say that the shift from AI-based images to hand-made ones by a real illustrator is very commendable?

I'm not an anti-AI by principle, but I can imagine that it's way cheaper and easier to deal with AI content and that's it, the fact that the dev decided to invest their Patreon money in paying an artist is worth praise.

I wish. Once you get around to playing it yourself, you'll find that by the point where you start going outside and unlocking the tavern, the whole concept of Morgana corrupting the prince is pushed into the background.

But yeah, I approve of moving away from AI.

Before circlejerking about "moving away from AI" maybe you should take a look at the new art?
Whatever they used before for the avatar, bring that back, man...
Although I don't really care about this game anymore, so do whatever you want

Yeah I don't care about it from the moment they made the priest trans or wtv, I looked forward to scenes with him, he was hot as a guy, and nah, this ruined it for me

Latest changelog from tfgs :
(free version v0.3.4, latest version for members on patreon )

v0.3.5b
  • Added back the old AI player portraits when an AI art-style is selected. This also disables the entire equipment, paperdoll, and visual body transformation systems for consistency.
  • Added a new spicy scene with Orson when you're romancing him and visit him in your bedroom.

v0.3.5a
  • New portrait art is now one of the theme options instead of being a forced default. The art style can be changed through the settings menu or in the changelog itself that pops up after loading a save.

v0.3.5
  • Custom new portrait art for a large amount of characters!
    • In this update, a large batch of characters have already been given the new portraits, namely: Andreas, Caspar, Devota, Eve, Hyssop, Kathryn, Leopold, Morgana, Orson, Rosa, Sybille, and Wymerus.
  • New 'starred' system has been introduced to the game. Whenever you see a decision with a golden star, it signifies this is usually content you haven't visited yet. I'm still working out how well it works, let me know if you have any feedback.
  • A continuation of the Princess storyline where you now go to a new secret council meeting and discuss your progress. If you do well in your lessons, you will be awarded a fun first rewards. More to follow soon!
  • A new spicy scene with Orson that can be accessed before taking a bath in the morning after going the submissive route with him in his dates.
  • A new Devota confession scene describing everything you saw after you spy on Caspar and Wymerus in the courtyard.
  • Added new artworks for Morgana's different potions.
  • Small parts of the beginning of the game have been rewritten to better reflect how the story has developed
    • The guard giving you a compliment before the first council meeting has been replaced with Rosa giving the compliment instead. This gives a nice little introduction of her character.
    • Mentions of the predecessor of Morgana have been removed as this didn't really add much to the story.
    • Andreas now explicitly hands over the 'no marriageable princess' problem to Morgana at the first council meeting.
    • Devota gets a small introduction at the meeting.
    • Kathryn's intro has been changed to be less edgy and a bit shorter as well.
    • The choice for which ointment ingredient has been changed to be less on-the-nose about which one is feminine and masculine.
    • Interactions where you help Rosa in the kitchen have been rewritten to better fit her character now.
  • Changed the width of the central game view depending on your screen resolution. This change might mess with the interactive map slightly, be sure to refresh the page whenever you change your window size! (Working on a fix for this)

I've completely dropped the game but I still look at this thread from time to time. Really sad to see that the author really will follow through with this new direction. It would've been fine if it didn't take them a lot of updates before completely redirecting and now majority of players suddenly became the "wrong audience". Could've been a classic tbh.

Yea, also checking the thread from time to time. What baffling decisions were made. Imagine introducing concepts of "switching up on your day ones" and enshittification into porn games. Truly revolutionary stuff.

But seriously, I still wonder - what did the author expect? Imagine building a house for one group of people, then say "actually, you're not welcome here" and then rebuild it for other people. And that new MC model... I mean, shit on AI all you want, but you gotta back it up - his new portrait looks so fucking goofy, straight up from some 2010 flash game. How are you supposed to jerk off while looking at this atrocity?

I like the premise of this game, but the progression/pacing after a certain point kinda breaks down.

At first, Morgana is corrupting the prince without him understanding her true intentions. This is great, but the problem is that there's never an eventual moment where the prince suspects or discovers what she's actually doing. Instead, he's just progressively "okay" with everything and never really questions the changes in his body, the crossdressing, or the increasingly feminine tasks asked of him. It just keeps building until finally he apparently wants to be a princess now.

It's just odd and beyond Morgana's initial seduction (which was a great start), there's no compelling reason for the prince to continue going along with any of it, especially to such lengths. Morgana is barely even involved at all once the tavern is introduced. She really needs to have a stronger manipulating/corrupting influence to justify the progression.
I'd say it breaks down almost immediately. It's written with a specific end in mind but does no work to set it up, so instead what we see is Morgana immediately acting highly suspicious by trying to cast spells on the Prince that she refuses to explain despite several commands to do so. Then she offers a strange potion, which she also refuses to explain. The only sensible direction of the options presented is to force her to drink it herself, which would at least give a reason why the Prince would ever show her even a modicum of trust. Under its influence she's forced to drop the vagaries and explain herself, but the way she goes about it is still essentially the same. The wackiest scene has her insisting that the Prince disguise himself (by crossdressing if you follow her insistence) so that they can go see a friend of hers so that he can crossdress some more. It's such wonderfully circular logic and I don't think the writer realizes quite how silly it is.

It's kind of an interesting character angle. I've only done the potion route, so I'm not sure if she originally had more ambitious motives for doing it, but it's clear that she's someone who's either so smart that she loops all the way back into being a nincompoop or such a moron that she loops around to being a genius. Based on nothing but a gut feeling - one that she does not bother talking to anyone about - she decides to solve the problem by turning the Prince into a princess. Rather than floating this idea, she figures the best way to do this is an overcomplicated plan with a dozen steps (any one of which would cause the whole house of cards to come tumbling down if something went wrong) that piles assumption on top of assumption until she ends up at a smidge of high treason to tie the whole thing together.

It's honestly really funny. She's like the most autistic sorceress I've ever read about.

But indulging her is utterly ridiculous. Even if you want to go the route she suggests, within the context of the story she would need to be executed. You do -not- get to try assassinating royalty and keep your job.

And yes, it's not really convincing as an arc for the Prince, either. If you notice that someone is trying to manipulate you as blatantly as Morgana does and then hear her say that she had you attacked so that you would trust her then obviously you don't respond by trusting her. Every once in a while it tries to bring the crossdressing up again in a conversation about this as if that's the important issue here and not the flagrant trust violations or the fact that Morgana just decided to do this to the Prince -and- force him into going along with it.

At that point it really does not matter whether he liked it or not. Her thought process is dangerous; it leads her to commit crimes and she's too detail-focused to see that what she's doing is extremely wrong. Wrong to the point where the Prince should not even trust any of the thoughts he's had. If she can invent mind control drugs then he has no guarantee that she's not been using them on him.

also: if she did invent a mind control drug, clearly the best idea is to use the mind control drug on important people in the neighboring countries - as well as the councilors. That way their loyalty doesn't need to be doubted even if they could possibly do as Morgana did and hatch a harebrained scheme that they -thought- was in the Prince's best interests.

That's where I get the impression that Morgana is an idiot genius: in trying to make a really stupidly specific transformation potion that would let her change the Prince without having to tell him that this is what it does (and allows her to excuse herself by saying that it was just modeling itself on his behavior) she accidentally invents a much, much better solution to the problem.

There's no reason to go with the princess plan if she can make more of those potions.

The story takes place in a land where diplomacy is done by marrying princes and princesses, but there is a shortage of princesses so Morgana tries to turn the mc into a princess to have more diplomatic options.

Why not turn the tables and invite all the other princes, transform them and then create a harem for our prince?

Or you could also create a world with a law that whenever the numbers of princes and princesses do not match, they all gather and draw by lot who has to transform.

In general people back then usually had more children but also higher death rates.

Example from history :
"Maria Theresa gave birth to sixteen children in nineteen years from 1737 to 1756. Thirteen survived infancy, but only ten survived into adulthood."

That's more or less my train of thoughts. With a synopsis like that, I was expecting more diversity than the usual sissification game :
Complete feminization of the protagonist, more or less fast and/or voluntary;
A potion to change his gender for public duties (like Ranma 1/2), with the impossibility of going back to being a man while pregnant;
Discovery of an illegitimate child to take care of the duties;
Finding someone who looks like us to make a double;
Transforming another prince;
Creating a potion to make MPREG possible;
A surrogate mother (I have doubts for this one).

Good continuation.
