they really did remove all the porn gifs? with what, just text?I had been playing this game from its initial release to when they changed the priest. I tried playing it again only to realise there's no more images or gifs of any sexual interactions...Completely ruined the game. Huge disappointment.

Maybe Patreon ordered it, or could just be for better consistency. Can't find many porn gifs of medieval sissy porn.they really did remove all the porn gifs? with what, just text?
I don't know why this made me laugh so hard. But yes, finding medieval sissy porn might not be the easiest task in the world.Maybe Patreon ordered it, or could just be for better consistency. Can't find many porn gifs of medieval sissy porn.
Not me, I was never interested in Morgana's path. The forced transformation is a very commonly reused theme in adult html games, which usually dominates the story and writing, which is something I'm tired of seeing, I've seen it all before and it's not my kink so it's just boring to me. So I was grateful when the dev actually let's you opt out of that, the game feels and functions like an actual sandbox game where the player chooses what paths to start or how the story goes.Damn, almost no mention of Morgana in the patch notes, and what little there is involves removing her backstory. Just kind of reinforces the idea that the corruption storyline is getting axed and Morgana is being relegated to nothing more than an npc behind a potion shop.
That's a shame, considering that Morgana's corruption of the prince was the entire backbone and conflict that made the game interesting in the first place. Now there's just no conflict anymore, which makes for a dull story. Morgana apparently feels guilty all of a sudden and drops the facade and the prince just decides that he's cool with it. To boot, everyone who finds out seems to be on board with the prince becoming a girl, even the priest, who's kind of the poster child of all this, after being completely rewritten to now love and support whatever debauchery the prince is getting up to.
Part of me wants to believe that the work-in-progress choice of rejecting Morgana when she asks you to become a princess has potential for returning to a more Morgana-focused corruption path. My hopes for this actually being the case is rather low, but I'm curious about what the dev is actually thinking for that route.
I don't think that kinks are necessarily the core issue. What it comes down to for me, is that a game with no conflict gets really boring really fast. Initially the entire premise of the game was trying to fulfill your royal duty, with Morgana being the central conflict that changes your course. With Morgana stepping aside to do little more than sell you potions and the MC barely needing to acknowledge running the kingdom, it just feels like you're going through the motions. Not me, I was never interested in Morgana's path. I think Kathryn is a good example of what I'm talking about, her path is forced chastity, a kink that is not everyones cup of tea, but the player ultimately decides if they want to experience forced chastity or opt out because you can refuse her demand at the start or be let out if you ask. Now that actually makes the path a lot more interesting to me because there's a natural progression, where Kathyrn clearly has the keyholder kink, so when the player gives their consent to participate, you see Kathyrn becoming more confident and growing into the role. The paths so far feel organic, rather than a rushed fetish dump.
And besides, I'm writing from a straight mans perspective, but this is a bi friendly game, and I know not every gay man that plays is going to be interested in being sissified. I think the correct term in the community is that they want to be the bear?
Anyway, bottom line, I can sympathize with you that the path/character you're interested in hasn't been developed, I'm just saying I wouldn't want it to be forced on the player or eclipse the entire story, otherwise it just wouldn't be a true sandbox game anymore.
Yeah, that's a fair point about wanting an antagonistic, a good antagonistic or conflict always makes a story more interesting, and helps shine a light on the virtues of the protagonist, though, not every story has or needs an antagonist, and I'm not really sure the developer ever intended to write such a story. Just my two cents though.I don't think that kinks are necessarily the core issue. What it comes down to for me, is that a game with no conflict gets really boring really fast. It seems to me that the game has changed from how it was originally presented into something overly focused on sanitization and consent, at the cost of an interesting story or conflict.
I will agree with you on that point. It's why I always get nervous, or hate it, when games add a lot of different kinks, characters or LI's because the story and character development always get stretched too thin. Right now I think there's a healthy amount of characters and kinks to choose from so I'm not too worried. As to kinks and such, over diversification and catering to too many tastes waters down the content of the game and bloats it with content that is almost certainly not going to appeal to the player. Its better for a game to have specific content with depth than trying to cater to everyone and have shallow content. I'm fine with the game not catering to my preferences, there are other games that do. I however loath to see another game that is so watered down to be equally worthless to everyone.
I'm not at all against choices or freedom, quite the opposite. Player autonomy is a huge part of what makes games interesting and compelling. Having a conflict and being able to choose how you deal with or respond to it is ideal. The problem in this instance is more that you're presented with an interesting conflict and then it just fizzles out.Yeah, that's a fair point about wanting an antagonistic, a good antagonistic or conflict always makes a story more interesting, and helps shine a light on the virtues of the protagonist, though, not every story has or needs an antagonist, and I'm not really sure the developer ever intended to write such a story. My point was more about this being a sandbox game where the player has the freedom to kind of make their own story, and it's for that reason I just don't want to see one fetish or kink completely dominate the narrative or be railroaded on the player because it just stops being a sandbox game at that point, and functions more like a kinetic novel at worst, or a VN at best. You know, kind of like how Tell Tale games had a reputation of giving the player choices that never mattered, it's that trap I want to see avoided that's all.
With that being said, I'm not opposing the idea of Morgana being a villain, who does force a kink on the player, all I want is the option to start or close that path. Besides there's not really a villain or conflict if you as the player can't fight back in any meaningful way. That's why I loved that you could force her to drink her own potion, that was great.
Without consequences or conflict, the story is just something that happened. Rather than a proper story.Yeah, that's a fair point about wanting an antagonistic, a good antagonistic or conflict always makes a story more interesting, and helps shine a light on the virtues of the protagonist, though, not every story has or needs an antagonist, and I'm not really sure the developer ever intended to write such a story. Playing a porn game just for the story? But whatever floats your boat.let me just... pop in here and say that I really appreciate the removal of the porn gifs! they break immersion and were inadequate.
for the first time since this game is out I'm actually sticking with it so just making sure dev knows not everyone is unhappy. I love the new art, too!
That's what I said about FPS with a story, no need... just need targets to shoot!Playing a porn game just for the story? But whatever floats your boat.
