Since when?
I thought, after all the endings in the 1st game, he was planning only 1 ending - the bad one - even while his patrons kept beating him up for the 2nd good one.
...But 3 or 4?
HSelf got ideas in his head for more endings so that’s what he’s doing even though he kind of hates himself for it lol. He also doesn't have much confidence in himself unfortunately so he sees multiple endings as an opportunity to have at least one ending that’s good enough.

Not to sound rude or ignorant of this, but is this just a side story of Aya also being stolen or a legit 'NTR because your main wife is still stolen but you get Aya' type of shit? Honestly I preferred her routes anyway in the main game. The best ending was the Mafia ending, they all deserved it. So instead of downloading this one and seeing a more Aya focused repeat I figured to save time and simply ask.

The scenes are much hotter, and ntr much more intense than in the main game. You can see that Hangover Cat has gained experience and understanding of how to do things right. In the previous game, I quickly lost interest due to the weak structure and boring sex/ntr scenes. But this one I'll be watching very closely, for so far it's going very well. It's just getting hotter and hotter. A sense of passion, loss, corruption, depravity is much better here.
Well done, Hangover Cat .
Really, like the first game its become very boring very fast, the line code game is boring and not fast enough.
The lack of love from Aya begin to show harder, all her excuse to protect her sempai feel empty.
I play to see the ending hoping to have some good ending like some of the first game but knowing hardcore cuck patreon gonna vote for the worst of them

It's essentially an AU of the first game. Harry starts dating Aya instead of Laura partway in.

And then Lucas makes her do stupid shit like he made Laura do, Aya falls madly in love very fast with her would be tormentor, blah, blah, blah, etc., NTR Harry cause he deserves it, now he loses not one but both girls time, including the daughter of Mafia boss cause she becomes an actual pathetic airhead throw away character.

Willing to bet one or two endings may end up with the suicide of Harry this time. Ooooh oooh, and I can also bet they might do another random BS AU story but with Laura's Mother this time as the main Heroine getting stolen because why the fuck not.

I don't want to be a harsh critic but a lot of these NTR games are losing original flavor and are becoming overly predictable. Don't get me wrong, this could be a good AU game scenario, but they need to spice things up. I have played lots of games on here and maybe one or two gave me a curveball toward the end that I liked. This may very well do the same, but I sadly doubt it. It will more than likely have all but one or two good endings and it will be a sad pathetic ending that is stupid as fuck that will be called the "True Ending".

Am I being overly critical for wanting a game that has and what feels like actual character depth and growth/change as opposed to "He and I have a rules that involve sex but its all for the guy I love" and 3 'chapters' later she says "well fuck the other guy this cock is bigger" overly used trouped BS....

I do apologize for this rant, I'm just kind of tired of the lack of diversity. The games with hidden sex scenes are almost fun, searching for all those scenes and getting a stand out of what's going on, but the wimpy boneless 'MC' that sees but does nothing is boring. He'll cry, do nothing and then lose. Have the guy snap and kill everyone, rape all the females who did him wrong, make the guy go legit batshit insane and give us a front row seat to that instead of the constant sad depressed shit.

Once more I apologize for this rant. I'm sorry.

It kind of sounds like NTR isn't for you if I'm being honest xD. The "constant sad depressed shit" is the point of NTR. The girl is supposed to get stolen and it's supposed to make you feel sad.

Sometimes devs will do a revenge route but that's just not really the point. It's like hoping for a Disney story where the villain wins. Sometimes people will make a story like that, but it's done ironically to turn the genre on its head.

Also this is the last APBLU game. HSelf is making it because he promised a route where Aya actually falls.

Yea it does sound that way, but I really do like it. I just like finding that one NTR that hits different and doesn't seem like every other game or story. Playing games with such similar storylines but different arts just makes me feel a little crazy after a while. They're not bad games, but the almost sheer repetitiveness at times feel like I'm eating the same meal everyday.

Maybe I'm being overly critical or a hypocrite but I know some of these artist have the talent and ability to do an NTR worthwhile but they don't and it's kind of underwhelming. Is any of this actually easy for the devs, especially new ones, no. Am I being unfair in my judgement, possibly. But I do believe that some of these devs can simply do better than what they are currently doing now.

Unfortunately, those kinds of NTR games are few and far between. But like in the first APBLU, there may be an ending that could potentially scratch that itch of yours. Most people that make NTR don't add a revenge plot as that's not the point of an NTR game. The main appeal and story that's told is the taboo nature of infidelity. Whatever comes after, is secondary like revenge and such.

I think you'd have more luck in playing NTR games with a focus on netorase than netorare, as those usually break NTR tropes and do a better job of character writing IMO.

Oh joy. Just can not wait.

I'm seriously interested: if authors of such stories seriously think that writing shitty relationships - where lovers hate each other - is actually sexy and worthy of a porn game, then why they don't just start with them?
Why the constant bait and switch?

Where are all the stories with the girl hating her boyfriend's guts from the very start?
And a guy that's a piece of shit towards his girlfriend?
So sexy.
Can't wait to jerk off to a bunch of poisonous spiders locked in a can.

Character progression, my ass...
I mean I get it. The tragedy of the fallen relationships could be very powerful.
But first, you are writing a porn game. This tragedy - the main thing about your story - should be sexy. And making the FMC act like a piece of shit doesn't make me harder.
It makes it harder to fkn watch her scenes.

It kind of sounds like NTR isn't for you if I'm being honest xD. The "constant sad depressed shit" is the point of NTR. The girl is supposed to get stolen and it's supposed to make you feel sad.
...
No, it's not.
Don't place arbitrary walls on the genre.
NTR is about jealousy. Period.
Like any other genre in the storytelling - it's about one emotion.
Everything else - how to bring that emotion to life - is up to the author's own discretion.

And you should know that. Most of the NTR stories don't even involve the lovers breaking up. These are minority.
And that's for a reason.
To break up a couple you need to diminish their love for each other. But that will diminish jealousy. Cos why the hell would you be jealous when there's no love?
So, to force your plot to snowball, you need the jealousy to grow along with your word-count. And for that, you need the love to grow (at least in the perception of the reader).

That is the safest and the most solid approach:
The more you write, the more reasons you give for lovers to love each other - and the more reasons you give for lovers to get jealous of each other.
At the same time.

It's just this story's doing it separately, for some reason.
First, there's a bunch of updates with absolutely no jealousy involved - only love is shown. So it's a snooze-fest for months.
Then, the love train came to a complete halt - and we were introduced to some valid reasons to be jealous. But now there's a bunch of hate in the relationships, for 'reasons' - so now jealousy doesn't work. Because why the hell would I be jealous of the hateful snake?

It's simple, really.
You see beautiful relationships - you want them to work out.
You see toxic relationships - you want them to break up as soon as possible.
There's no room for jealousy - or even tragedy - in the second one.

I mean it's just the simplest approach, of course. You absolutely can make the couple to break up - but you need to make it actually work in a porn game. Cos of the reasons from above.
Or else your story's second half would always be worse than the first half.
And that should never be the case.

I think you'd have more luck in playing NTR games with a focus on netorase than netorare, as those usually break NTR tropes and do a better job of character writing IMO.
I don't think people reference to these types of stories as 'netorase'.
The guy will google 'netorase', watch some swinging with 0 tension, fall asleep, and'll be left disappointed for the rest of his life. :HideThePain:

For example, if in this game Harry was fully aware of what was going on, but couldn't stop it cos of the real danger it posed for Aya - so he, let's say, was working in the shadows to help her get out of it as much as he can, while dealing with his own emotions. Causing his mental to go nuts more and more, but still fighting - if not for his love, then at least for his loved one's well-being.
So Harry fights for his love, while his own demons tearing him apart from within.
Aya fights for her love, while her own demons tearing her apart from within.
And antagonist fights to tear their love apart.
Plot.
You can do a lot of stuff with increasingly deteriorating mental <=> but clear objective that will never falter. But will twist into something new.

If I understand correctly that is the type of the 'curveball' the guy was asking for.
And I don't think that people would label it as NTS.

If I'm wrong, could you bring some examples of NTS stories that you think of?
I like the genre myself, so I'd always appreciate a reference to a good story.

It's simple, she wasn't made for this, with what we saw in the original game, the girl here is a joke , her intellect was put in her pocket  , it would have been better to make another story, let me tell you that I only came in to see the cg, the story doesn't even interest me :cautious:.

When I referenced netorase, I was more talking about cucking, not swinging. This story is def not NTS, I was just suggesting that if he wants something that isn't the same thing filled with the same NTR tropes, and gets too predictable, then NTS usually breaks those tropes (SO falling for the bull, MC being passive to the SO's infidelity).

Also if the game started doing something like what you're describing about mental deterioration to save his SO from a dire situation, then that's not an NTR anymore, that's like a psychological drama thriller. Even if there's infidelity involved in there, the focus isn't NTR anymore.

But in terms of NTS games that I believe break the tropes associated with the genre are Boku ni Dakare Aegu Tsuma wa and Marina Netorase (specifically the 3rd)

Boku ni Dakare Aegu Tsuma wa
Thanks.
Marina Netorase (specifically the 3rd)
I played it.
I agree there were some unique twists - but I can't say they were particularly good. Again - the plague of all such stories - because for the sake of these twists, the author forces both husband and wife to make some cringe decisions that damage their relationships - just so they have something to repair later.

It's like watching some Disney knock-off, and around the middle of the movie MC is doing something dumb that he will be embarrassed about for the rest of the movie - and you for the rest of your memory of it.
And it's blatantly obvious why. Cos director wanted to force some 'character growth' into their MC.
I'm sure you've seen plenty of such cases yourself.

For example, a very similar story that kinda* has done what "Marina" did, but better: Gal Kano!! ~Selfish Body and Uninhibited Girlfriend~

'Kinda', because there's, honestly, only 1 scene that is actually hot, intense, and constructs jealousy well. But it does it very well.
And after it - after the most intense NTR scene of the whole game - lo and behold, MC's and FMC's relationships became stronger and their love for each other deeper.
Because of it.

Wrong. Netorare is about having your loved ones stolen by the means of sex. That is the literal meaning of the word when you break down it's components in japanese. The steal can come in many forms, from only physically to both physically and emotionally and may or may not lead to a break up. Remember, the 'T" in Netorare comes from 取る (toru) which means to take something. Perhaps you should do a little research first.

A girl being stolen doesn't have to involve breaking up. It doesn't even have to involve someone that the MC is in a romantic relationship with. It's just someone that has a relationship with the MC and that relationship being severed as it was.

My definition of NTR is just the literal definition straight from Japan. Netorare literally means being stolen away by sleeping/having sex. It's much more specific than just jealousy. I know everyone has their own definition for NTR they want to give though.

It wouldn't be primarily NTR anymore is what was getting at, cause it's taking a backseat to the narrative that you described in your "what if". I'm not saying that you can't have secondary tags in an NTR game, every game has secondary/lesser-focused tags. A perfect example is the RPGM game Pony Celes. Netorare is very much an element in the game, but it's not the primary focus of the game, therefore, not an NTR game.

If the story focused on the protag's character development from some adventure they're going through and not the emotional turmoil and conflicting feelings the person being stolen gets from cheating, then it's not an NTR story cause then we're not focusing on the cheating anymore.

NTR is also not about jealousy. As others have pointed out, it's about stealing someone away from another through the means of sex.
