Hello we are small team of game devs that helped to create some very popular videogames. We never abandon a game and we don't work on more than 1 project at once. We're aiming to start a new age of NSFW gaming by creating high quality games since the current market is saturated with cash grabs.

This is a quick survey that will decide what we will create, and how long it will take. This survey will stay up for a week. Then after that we will submit 1 or 2 more surveys depending on the answers we got

We encourage you to spread the word about this survey to speed up the creation of this large project.

So you don't have any idea for next cash grab then try to figure out what market demands.

Market demands something continuously make his dick hard. If you have any fresh idea go ahead.

or If you good at 3d, 2d, text whatever with good story go ahead.

Thanks for taking the survey, caLTD. This is only a questionnaire and it's a free one so we don't know how it appeared to you as a cash grab.

Quality is our first concern, and it's one of the main reasons we're creating videogames. We're aiming for something much bigger than cash grabs and abandoned games.

We're asking for your opinions to create the game that suits you best. If you have any ideas you want implemented, then feel free to share them with us.

Any videogame must fall within a category, and a genre, but we have a whole lot of fresh and unique ideas to implement into the gameplay itself.

Make sure to share this survey to speed up the creation process, and stay close to try the free demo, and judge for yourself.

No offense, but you basically declare all adult games are shit and want to make everything better, but don't even know what you want to do? Sorry, but to me it sounds like you're going in for the cashgrab...
Also every single question in your survey has been answered here in the forum several times already.
At least do your homework.

Well I give you very quick survey about market.

Go where your dick got hard.

I think this approach is backwards. I'm pulling this stat out of my ass, but I'd say 80% of players don't care about gameplay, or at least they don't care about it more than story. The majority of successful games are just straight-up visual novels.

Yeah, some people enjoy sandbox games or RPGs, or whatever, but even then, they play a specific game because they like that game. You don't blindly attract people with genres, you need a compelling concept, a story and characters people resonate with.

You can't just ask people which genre, art-style and fetishes they like and then go "SO WHAT WOULD YOU PAY ME FOR THAT?"

Adult games aren't fast food. Nobody can know what you are capable of or if the game you are going to make would be interesting to them. Make something you think is good, then ask people to pay you for it.

Thanks for participating in the survey.

We believe that the market is saturated with low quality games, but there are many quality games as well that we are taking as examples here.

If you believe that this game won't meet your expectations then wait for the demo to drop before labeling it as a cash grab. You will be surprised.

We went through a vast number of polls and surveys posted here. The answers differ wildly from one survey to another. They also include genres that we know don't fit our abilities or they don't include others that we can deliver on.

This survey was tailored to fit our abilities realistically. So we can deliver on any genre you choose to include.

We see that you're also a developer, and you might be comparing our abilities to yourself to decide what we can make. We assure you that our workflow is strict and professional to deliver everything on time with a high quality.

The quality of a game largely increases its success and is one of the main factors of its popularity. This is our biggest concern and our main cause.

However, this is not the only factor. Every question on this survey increases the chances of more players joining the game. One more reason for this survey is to start with a player base ready to test, give feedback, and share the game.

Questions regarding payment are only there to plan if we would hire more people in the future. Money is our least concern for at least the first official release of the game. We are only gathering a player base for now.

And here we goes again.

Hello we are small team of game devs that helped to create some very popular videogames. We never abandon a game and we don't work on more than 1 project at once.
You've to pick one here. If you're helping to create games, you aren't in position to abandon it since it's not yours. And if you are in position to abandon it, you didn't helped but worked on your personal project.
On a side note, too bad that every time it was a secret collaboration.

We're aiming to start a new age of NSFW gaming by creating high quality games since the current market is saturated with cash grabs.
I would have agreed if you said that it's saturated by "low to average quality games", but since really few make money with an adult games, "cash grabs" do not works.
As for creating high quality games in order to start a new age, you are two years late. But you can still join the new age, or start a second by creating games with deep game mechanisms .

This is a quick survey that will decide what we will create, [...]
So in fact you want to start with an average quality cash grab game ; not that it surprise me.

We encourage you to spread the word about this survey to speed up the creation of this large project.
I tried hard, really, but failed to see how the number of answer to your one week survey can have an influence on the time you'll need to make the game. But I do see how it have an influence on you thinking that you'll have the game that will federate the community and grad a lot of cash.

The majority of successful games are just straight-up visual novels.
why? how did that happen?

legit curious. is it like for lazy people who dont want to read some book novels?

still refuse to classify such as 'games'. in most cases - skip-skip-skip until some action. liked GGGB though. mostly because of choices frequency, story tracebility and some realism in pics and story (so i significantly reduced my skipping and even read abit)

before digging into adult games i didnot even think that such thing as VN exist . cannot say that i knew of any f95-alike content including sanboxes either but ofc i could reasonalby assume the existance of some kind of point-click-and-move/perform type of content ... basically i just knew only about well promoted/advertised and thus more or less known 3d date-sims.

Every time I see such a thread, I can't help but being negatively predisposed. What do you intend to gain from this? Grasp the current market, even though it can be quite different 2 years down the line, so your potential game can try and tap the largest possible pool?
See what everyone likes, so you can cram as many relevant things in your game to tick the maximum possible number of boxes?

Repeat after me. You cannot please everyone. If you are serious about creating a game, create something you yourselves are fond of first and foremost, not what a bunch of random people on the internet told you they would wank off to.
If you go into this half-assed because it's what will allegedly attract the most attention, but you dislike it, it will never be as good as it could be.

And you're basing your product's market viability on the answers of a community that has no intention of supporting creators as a whole? Sure, some do, but on the grand scheme of things it's 0.05% or so. So the answers might as well be irrelevant to the ones willing to support creators.

On a personal note, I despise the "This is a quick survey that will decide what we will create" mentality with all my heart.
It nurtures a portion of supporters who support something not because they like it, but because they are confident that paying will steer the game towards their own personal preference. Fuck that.

Many videogame genres can have some openworld elements. Choose the game type that you enjoy the most. There is a question about the importance of sandbox features in the game to choose from as well.

Thanks for taking the survey.

I dunno, I recommend making a porn movie. Asking everyone what to do means there's no passion for making games, no plan.

Good luck anyway! (y)
We worked on many genres before. Pick the game you like the most and we will deliver the best content in that regard. Wait for the free demo if you're not convinced.

It's more due to the nature of the community.
You've those who are here for the porn, and you've those who are here for the entertainment. For the first ones, too complicated game mechanism would interrupt their fap session. For the second ones, no adult games can effectively compete with "normal" games, so the entertainment they search come from the story.
Obviously, in practice it's more complicated than that, but globally speaking it's why Visual novels have more chance to succeed. Whatever side you tend too, it's what have the more chance to give you what you want.

I too had hard time naming them games. But finally I realized that, when it come to adult gaming, visual novel have a definition way more lax than the usual kinetic novels. They tend more on the side of "choose your own adventure" stories than effective novels, and can have (relatively speaking) advanced game mechanisms.
But still they aren't arcade games, beat'm'up, FPS and all, so naming them "visual novel" fit.

It's definitely a new approach, most devs come with a planned story and which fetishes we can expect. Making a porn game with 'all sorts' of fetishes isn't always a good thing. :)
