How do save my progress for the next update? Just extract the new version file and overwrite the old progress file?
Yup, that's all there is to it. Just copy the files in oldversion/www/save and paste in newversion/www/save
Note that file1.rpgsave is the autosave file, and all of the other numbered files are the manual save files (e.g. file2.rpgsave is the manual save in slot 1)
Also note that you'll get the caution message for "Oniichan from another timeline" when you do this. This is normal.
Try playing it on Maldives and activate all the compatibility settings. Never bugs again ever since (item drops dropped on unreachable tiles is another matter though)
