Never been any blood. Even the story hinted at the start implies it's not blood, with her being an elf or something.

considering the "pedigree" the father was some very good alchemist. So the sister is most likely a Homunculus possessed by a demoness. This would explain why the body and soul are unstable, and the philosopher's stones and potions made from them "cure" this.
