Due to the recent large-scale game takedowns on Itch, we has spent a considerable amount of time working on getting the game re-listed on Itch, which disrupted this month’s development schedule. As a result, we were unable to finish the planned content, and the update for version 0.8 will be delayed until around August 30. The focus of the update has also been shifted to implementing the “Imouto Cooking Event” and adding a new boss.
The “Imouto Cooking Event” and the new boss implementation may be split into two separate updates. If development goes smoothly, we may release a small update first in about 1–2 weeks.
As for Itch, future updates will not be affected in any way — you’ll just need to download the later updates from your Itch game library.

I think it just happens if you keep talking to him when you find something new
like when you try to cook with different ingredients and it makes a new dish
or when you buy the game he's offering and then play with your imouto and tell him about it
then eventually you get that message

dont worry, thats called a node.js file and it helps with running the games code . it is also used for web sockets (like how people can have a button to link to their patreon)

At the moment, for the game version 0.79 and many earlier, this message means that you have received all the functions that the "Strange Knight" opens.

It is currently impossible to meet "Strange Knight" in the Abyss.

It will most likely appear after release, with an item that will unlock some features for seggs with sister after seggs-scenes are added to the game.
