Bro God has a better plan for your life. Something I’ve learned is that our plans always have a tendency to mess up. But we have so much confidence in ourselves that we refuse to even look at what God has prepared for us.
Jeremiah 29:11 says
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
So yeah no kidding He’s trying to keep you from making a bad decision. He’s got a whole plan set for you personally, but how much do you want that? And how long will you try to fill that void with things that will only make you feel worse.
Believe me bro I’m there right now, I get it. I would rather flatline right now and be with God, fr. But, that’s not what He wants for my life, because He had a purpose for me when I was created. The Bible says that before we were created He knew us, and He knit us in the womb. He knew all the nasty things we would do and He still created us. He knew He would have to die for us, but He still created us, because He loves you and me.
Jesus hung out with the sinful instead of those who were living according to the law, and when He explained why he said “it is not the healthy that need a doctor, but the sick”. We’re those sick people bro, and He wants to heal us and have a personal relationship with us, because He’s our Father and we’re His child. Talk to Him about it.
