the walkthrough said at the day 1 when you go home then you can answer the telephone to take a quiz, but i try many times it didn't happen, can someone tell me why? thanks!

The walkthroughs are out of date, treat them as a resource for ideas and hints, not something to be followed with exact precision. You will note they are mostly vredtited to be for version 14.6 or 14.7 not the current 14.8 and the game is changing

The event you note will happen just do something else and it will happen when you visit the house. It should happen quite early on but it all depends on the exact path you are following

Thanks for reply, there's a small question, as mention above, do you have any plan to have some "aftermath" chapter, kind of like a chapter showing how things turn out after a year or sort.

There is already it is the end game, but I have no real plan for an aftermath, that sounds more like a sequel game really. I would prefer to spend effort expanding the game. We only just got an end game this release after all and it is mostly a place-holder, a sort of good end game but not necessarily the best, pending my added others that is.

Love the game, but I always get stuck at the same part.

On the apprenticeship path, after freeing your sister the guide tells you to go to see sir roland, but a cop at the mansion won't let me in. I can't for the life of me figure out what to do.

I think you need to one of 2 things first. Either charm the mayor and command her to remove the security around the mansion, or charm the police officer at the police station and command her to stop it. Don't really remember which one it was.

@cmacleod42 I've been browsing through the image folder and I see a lot of images I've never seen before in the game, even though I've pretty much completed Apprentice, Conspiracy and Murder paths with help of the walkthrough. For instance, the pool pictures. For most characters in the game I see pictures for them at the pool (I believe the one at the hotel?) but nowhere have I seen an option to swim with them or something. Are those images still to be implemented?

Also, I know the FAQ says you can make suggestions, but do you accept fan-made stuff? Like, if I come up with a storyline for a new (minor) character (with altered pics), would you look at it?

I'm at school, find the letter, go to the library but when talking to monique i am supposed to give her the letter but i dont get the option! where am i going wrong. I've re started but cant see anywhere that i am supposed to select the letter to pick it up :-(
in the inventory on the right all i have is my phone

Letter? You do mean 'Mr. Beasly's Paper', right? Open the menu on your right hand by clicking the + above the phone. Then you can Examine, use, give and drop a certain item. click 'give' on the paper when you're at Monique after completed all dialogues with her.

Yes i mean the Beasley paper but it isn't in my inventory on the right all i have in there is my phone :-(

Remember to go to the school and visit the History Classroom and click to pickup the letter, then visit Monique and choose the Give option for the item in your inventory

It sucks having the guides so out of date because I keep getting stuck or screwing up little things cause I try to rush through it again. Mom stuff in particular seems to constantly screw up for me, either not getting masturbation scenes or her just not going to work even though I'm already at the point where I have the vampire and have re-charmed Tracy like six times. Hopefully this gets big enough to have a dedicated walkthrough thread or something to counter that.

Otherwise it seems pretty good. I think the structure is pretty clever with good use of pictures and the story is pretty fun, at least for the apprentice path. I've yet to try the others since I keep messing up the first.

EDIT: Don't know if this will mess up the game but in case anyone searches this and has the same problem getting Mom to leave or go to work, I went into the cheats and view people, then went to her screen and messed with the toggle flag, that triggered her leaving for work and next day I got the call for her luggage. Hope that helps someone.

You can fix if needed using the cheat menu, select View People, locate Daria, type 4 in the 'Toggle Flag' edit box and click the link

It literally is the 'Toggle Flag' Click on that after you typed in what you needed and it applies that.

Is this game and it's developer still active? I remember playing this long time ago and i'm kinda sure the version was starting with 14 but changelog doesn't reminds me anything.Also text-based tag should change this game has tons of images.I wouldn't play it if I saw that tag.

EDIT : Sorry , saw the dev posts on the last page.So is there enough new content to replay?

It depends when you last played and what version, but if it was a 'long time ago' then there is certainly enough new content to replay

There was a bug in the original 14.8 release where Mom could get stuck at home, this was fixed in the 14.8.1 update. Have you applied the fixes and are now running 14.8.2b?

Otherwise she only leaves once Tracy is charmed and you saw her masturbate after that. AND Sarah is at the mansion and on the murder path Officer Khan has been shot and she told you or she can no longer be shot

Yeah started replaying it.It looks like the UI got complicated.For some reason I can't use stones they use to give mana but now it says it's just a piece of junk. Since I know some javascript I deleted some of them with the perYourBody.RemoveItemSL(2);usingItem() function and added myself the equal mana but it was bothersome. :biggrin: Is this an intented bug or am I doing something wrong?
