Can you give me some more information on what you find confusing?
Mainly giving directions, at least for me. If I don't search deep I'm not entirely aware of what I should do. At least I don't usually struggle on html games, but it can be a matter of getting used to it. Although I understand that a game starting in 2016 usually has a different style than I usually play.
And yes I understand the game shouldn't be "a piece of cake", but as an example I only got it after checking every single location I could go. After playing a bit the game gets easier to understand, but personally specially the first impact to the player than discourage people to play it. At some points there is quite big walls of text, at others the interface isn't easy to understand, only if you dive deep into it.
Don't get me wrong, and sorry if I sounded rude above, it isn't my goal. I'm just pretty vocal on game that I think that they can be fun and/or have nice concepts. I wouldn't even bother to comment on a game I wouldn't think I could like. But my first experience felt like the learning curve decreased instead of increasing due to those struggles. And I'm still struggling quite a bit when and where you should use/give some items. While I like challenge, I don't like being forced to use the walkthough to simply play it.
One thing I can say about the interface though, is the map movement. That actually works pretty fine. And the phone in some way. Oh, and thanks for the answer.
edit: some reviews share this struggle. If you want to test try to do an walkthough quest at start. It should help. It doesn't need to be that serious but helps to learn the concept of the game besides reading an wall of text.
