I'm running into a bit of trouble with the Blue Bottle conversation triggering when first meeting with Mrs Robbins.

I'm currently running version 14.17, with the recent Adele Ross patch and am following the walkthrough for Male hard Murder path very carefully.

I've followed the walkthrough to the point where you're directed to enter the Robbins' house, I get the pop up description for Mrs Robbins, get the blue text "Mrs Robbins, has Davy been meeting with Mr Beasley recently?", click that and get the pop up reply from Mrs Robbins regarding her claiming Davy never met the teacher, then my only options left are to check the bedroom or leave the house.

I've played through the game many times and have always gotten the dialog to learn about Mrs Robbins having sold the blue bottle, even on hard murder path, but now I'm getting nothing. Could this be another bit of broken code from 14.17, much like the until recently missing scene where Adele Ross blocks entry to her house?

Edit: Cheats were used for more mana and money
Edit 2: realized I loaded the wrong save, reuploaded the correct save just before the robbins house scene

Not a bug like for Adele, but still a bug likely but an old one

By chance did you charm Bambi BEFORE Monique? If so it would cause this issue.

To fix for now, open the cheat menu and move Monique to place 10, then visit her at the History Classroom. This opens the questions up

EDIT:
however the situation in your save happened I have added a fallback to address the issue, so it you charm Bambi first or it was something else. When you next visit Bambi in her bedroom (as there are a few queries and events from there) it will trigger Monique moving to the History classroom

I should also add some text messages for these moves so she tells you where she is, so it is less tripping over her. Similarly for others. Minor issue with text message id's in the game but probably ok

Is there anything that gives an idea of what to do next at any given time besides the walkthrough. Most of the time I'm stuck moving all over the place, with no idea what I should be doing, and once in a while something apparently activates and I get to do one more thing, or maybe find a place or something like that.

The various events in the game generally tell you things to do, often in bold face if important. Otherwise try checking the notes in your phone

Also charm everyone you can, and if you cannot do it to someone look for clues, while there are a few you cannot you can everyone else

I've run into another hiccup where Gabby's hypnosis pendant isn't working to allow me to hypnotize Adele. I confirmed I have hypnosis training.

It does not work that way, at least you never use Gabby's pendant. You need to wait for a while, a day or two and Catherine will find something out and SMS you. Then you can just hypnotise and charm her

I have changed the meeting when Adele returns from work to mention you should wait a while. I will alter the walkthrough but it does say to wait for Catherine's SMS.

I'm pretty early in the game right now. It's been a very long time since I played. Since I only remembered some things, decided to do a new game, and realized I can't remember how most things went. I don't even have charm yet.

All depends where you are here, are you Sir Ronald's apprentice or his murderer (or witness)

You need to talk to Mr Beasley and then find a magic stone, a ghost will appear, follow and this leads you to the charm spell

Playing on the murder/witness path is more fun. That path makes everyone (who can be charmed) charmable. There's restrictions on the Apprentice path. :|

Cheat menu, View Items, in the edit box for add item either type the number listed for Possession or just type possession and click


Do you know the possession spell itself? If so then likely you do not have enough experience. Otherwise when talking to Tess etc to learn new trainings only the first 3 available trainings are listed and "firmer possessions" is the last available training

Worst case open the Jacascript console (hit F12 select the console) and type

There are certain events in the game that cause her to be charmed by Davy and then unavailable. These are usually much later in the game, but possibly you have done things in an odd order or used the cheat menu to add certain items or spells

Try opening the cheat menu, is Kate listed as charmed and what place is she listed at?

The game is about your search for an old magical grimoire used in the past by the evil Kurndorf to enslave and create a personal cult

You find it and gain spells that you can use to mind control people in various ways. It is about using magic to dominate others, so a player dominant story. You can do most things in any order/time you want and there are story arcs that are the same always.

The story has several paths that are variations on the story. You have your choice of a male or female character but most people you encounter are female so playing as a female is as a lesbian largely.

Mind Control is the main fetish but you can then have sex in a variety of ways mostly relatively vanilla but there can be some bondage play with select characters. There is a little hypnosis but most mind control is magical. There is also a spell that can transform you or others (gender, BE, futa mainly)

Hi, i am having an issue with getting Catherine to call me to meet her at the construction site.

Adele never appears to tell me to go away from her house. I am playing the severn mod on hard murder. Already completed kurndoff, the demon, davy and almost everything else but just can't get the catherine branch to start

Thanks again, fixed. I will include in the forthcoming 14.17a update. Partly related to the test fix, but otherwise still a multi-mod issue, but fixed either way
