I do not see Its Image on Mom and Tracy, Even its Spell Book it does not Work.

What image, do you mean any images for them?

You are not using the Update 14.17c ONLY here? It is an update and must be applied to an existing 14.17 or 14.16 game installation

I have no problems using a full version of the game so 14.17 with 14.17c applied to it. This includes the bug you reported but works fine once fixed too.

Please note that check.bat process you showed the output for BREAKS THE GAME. It is not playable after running it. You must run the compile.bat to return the game to a playable state.

Usually images do not show because they are missing, so you are only using the update on it's own for instance. Did you update the 14.17 version in the first post or a version 14.16. If you updated an earlier version then images can be missing.

Check is your game folder approx 4.32Gb in size? (the update is only 322Mb) If you game folder is significantly under 4.32Gb then that indicates you are using an older version of the game or one not fully updated

Otherwise images can be missing for some characters if their models are not selected. Try opening the cheat menu, select 'Select Models' and pick models for Tracy and Mom. Alternately use 'View People' and do the same for them.

Cast the spell or check it's desciption after learning the training. It will note you can just phone/message them to trigger the spell. So cast the spell, check the address book in your phone and pick someone

In what cases, there is little in the update that should change the games performance?

14.17c mainly fixes small bugs and minor tweaks, some to improve performance. Do you have many mods enabled? They do slow showing images down, the more you have, the slower. On my system it runs fine, very slightly slower but others have reported a more noticable issue with essentially all mods enabled.
You could try using the cheat menu, view mods and try turning some off and see if it helps

yes, when I use all 4 mods, it will be lagging after maybe 5mins. I need to save games and open the new page for the game. It's smooth normally, but after 5mins, it's lagging again. So I turn off 2 mods for model. It's smooth about 3 mins, it's lagging again. Then I turn down to 1 mods, it's smooth. But when my laptop's in sleep mode, I can't play the game.

May I suggest try a different browser and see if it works any better for you

I am still unsure why here, but I reverted some changes image related I did. Can you try this and see if it helps

Had a full clean install of the main version on the front and then the latest update in the thread (c?). Found at least two broken images... I should have noted them down but it was late so I can only look at the timestamps one hope they are correct.

Both of them were in some popups I think and caused some major screwups in image loading as it seemed to never stop loading and just kept flickering.

Another thing with Kellie in the park was that her normal image just in area sometimes loaded were slowly and you could see the image path for a bit. This got worse and worse and restart fixed it, the aformentioned missing image issue caused this instantly until I renamed some files for those two above.

Did you change the file paths? Because those files were literally missing and in the modal dialogs they were causing some looping loads until I added a file with the correct name. None the less, I'll try it later tonight.

I think the issure is when I choose seclect Model in the beginning of the game. Like P.C. Khan will be lagging

Did you try the fix I posted. I think it will help. I do not think select models is an issue aside from some general image retying that the fix should help

Could you please try more and see if the problem with lag or slow images etc is still present?

It should be fixed as I un-did the most likely change and from the issue Wrathe posted it seems very likely the same case and should be fixed

There's a book in the empty classroom you have to read. Or you can ask Monique about it or rifle through her library cubicle. And then once you have the vase you need to talk to Kate's mom to open the workshop.

Thanks for the help, it wasn't the solution for me, but after triggering another quest, the option to look after the gem was there.
I won over Legion, solved the problem with Gabby and have the vampire, but still 2 spells are missing. What are these and can I still get them (and where)?
