IIRC it's in the tent with the map, isn't it?I don't understand how to arm mercenaries? There are already 5 pieces of ammunition ready in the MC inventory, but I don't understand how to put it on mercenaries or where to leave it for them.

I, and many others, don't start games with cheats and a walkthrough.Plus, majority of players probably followed the walkthrough from the very start & got the cheat book. With that thing in your inventory, money is the least of your concerns.
Not to mention the fact that a rework of the inventory and shit, shall require a new plugin and therefore a save breaking update.I'm pretty sure you're the ONLY person here having this "problem" & Chyos ain't gonna change the inventory limits just to please a single player.
No one really care when their inventory gets full & they missed picking up a few extra elder woods to make more money cuz money was never an issue in this game to begin with. If you've actually played the game up until this point & read the walkthrough accordingly, then you're living casually in your own house without paying any taxes thnks to your 4 deployed mercs (+ Frank) & that only cost you a mere 30 gold/month. Something that you can easily afford by selling random stuffs that you picked up along the roads & open money pouches (drops from enemies or sometimes is a random item you can find laying around), wood isn't the only source of income you know.

in a tent with a map there is a map, bed and a chest for money, and ammunition where?IIRC it's in the tent with the map, isn't it?
the existing plugin pack can already do it and it is fully compatible with existing saves. Not to mention the fact that a rework of the inventory and shit, shall require a new plugin and therefore a save breaking update.

Search "Default Max" and change the "99" to "9999"
Search "Max Items" and change the "0" to "9999" and save.
Unlike you, those "many others" didn't complain about the inventory limits being a problem.I, and many others, don't start games with cheats and a walkthrough.
I start games playing normally
if I find the grind onerous I resort to cheats. And if I find the game inscrutable I resort to a walkthrough.
I had never expected this game to lock cheats away behind starting a brand new run. (you can't just acquire a cheatbook mid game)
Apparently, you missed the entire thing I wrote about how money was never an issue, you're already living without taxes & you can sell other things to get money WITHOUT resorting to cheat. No one's stopping you from going for an "honest" run, but you're complaining about a self-inflicting issue that didn't affect any other players of this game."money is not a problem if you just cheat" is a terrible argument in opposition of implementing some quality of life / grind reduction.
Go to the map in Imawyn's camp & press the camp symbol (not the training ground), the option to equip is in the middle.I don't understand how to arm mercenaries? There are already 5 pieces of ammunition ready in the MC inventory, but I don't understand how to put it on mercenaries or where to leave it for them.
You made the explicit argument that majority of players are cheating and using walkthrough, so there is no reason to reduce grind.Unlike you, those "many others" didn't complain about the inventory limits being a problem.
Where in the picture is the table in question? You can get the cheat book without resorting to start a brand-new save cuz it's always been on the table of your house as soon as you get access to it
That’s a subjective opinion in the end tho, tons of players enjoy the game just like it is and don’t find it grinding and are pushed by the challenge of this old school like rpg.You made the explicit argument that majority of players are cheating and using walkthrough, so there is no reason to reduce grind.
I disagree about this being the initial default state.
People resort to cheat because the game is grindy, rather than cheating being the default state of the majority of players.
Reducing grind will reduce the number of people who turn to cheats
Or... instead of "not play", I can make a suggestion to the dev that he just change the value for "item max" and "default max" on his yanfly item engine from 99 to 9999You don’t wanna play it? EZ don’t play it, it’s meant to be an old school indie game after all.
I have no plans to extend the max amount of items over their current limits. Yes, that could be done as you pointed out, but it's a design decision to have them where they are now. Originally I had plans to limit the inventory even further to make it more realistic (so that you could only carry 200 items in total) but I moved away from that idea because it would have been too tedious for the player.the existing plugin pack can already do it and it is fully compatible with existing saves.

the items with a /9,999 after them use "Max Items" value. (ex: antidote)
While the items without it use "Default Max". (ex: wheat)
for the dev it is even easier to change. he just needs to go to YEP_CoreEngine and set the value he wants.
food can not be taken out of storage. it is a one way tripMay I add that you can store tons of food & logs in your home, give and take - therefore you store them - food, logs, fur and ore to/from Rumah's people and now you can store gold in your tent at the camp?
well, thank you for giving this some considerationI have no plans to extend the max amount of items over their current limits. Yes, that could be done as you pointed out, but it's a design decision to have them where they are now. Originally I had plans to limit the inventory even further to make it more realistic (so that you could only carry 200 items in total) but I moved away from that idea because it would have been too tedious for the player.
As it is now there are no resources that don't respawn. So you can always get more and you can carry an amount of each that is enough for any demand. Also the amount of gold that drops isn't that high, it is pretty much required to sell goods so that you have enough money for all demands. So it's not as realistc as I would like it, but at the same time the MC isn't a walking lumbermill.
I'm aware that the balancing of that isn't perfect. I could probably spend a whole month just with balancing, but I don't have that much time or I wouldn't be working on new content anymore.
I had the idea to add a storage system when I did the MC's house upgrade. Problem with that was that it would require another save reset (adding the required plugin would break saves). This is something that might come in the future, but I'm not doing another save reset just for that. This would solve the issue you have while still not breaking my idea of a limited inventory.
So if you want to increase the cap for yourself, then that's your thing. You can do it as you did. But I'm not changing the current limits.
can you add the new stuff?CG RIP 0.5.0.0, PNGs optimized by ~800MB IIRC. Now 2.52GB

You are talking about a mercanery... the guard in question wears plate mail like those soldiers in the tavern.
It was part of her latest (and hopefully last) Bonus scene
There is no guard in that area for me, tried sleeping, working in the inn and waiting, nothing happens or appears. He just apear infront of the inn. just wait or skip to next work for me.
Speaking of.So it's not as realistc as I would like it, but at the same time the MC isn't a walking lumbermill.
I can't speak for anyone else, but I certainly don't. You're focusing on something that, in the grand scheme of things, doesn't matter. Everyone may have an idea in their head of what the perfect inventory setup is, but what this game has works just fine, and doesn't get in the way.Speaking of.
Such a system makes me feel things are less realistic.
When it is just an inventory, I assume that the inventory is "stuff you own" instead of "stuff you are literally carrying".
That the MC is storing all his junk in his basement or something. And only carrying with him what is reasonable for him to be currently carrying
And that we are just skipping over the part where MC walks back and forth 100 times to bring items over.
But then I encounter a stockpile and I have to deposit/withdraw items from.
This re-contextualizes inventory from "stuff you own" to "stuff you are carrying".
so the attempt to make things more realistic backfires. At least for me.
I wonder if anyone else shares this sentiment
Then you have to re-interact with said bottlesIt says interact with the wine to start the party
but I put 3 bottles of wine at first
what do I do now?
Did you completed Liandra;s quest to the piont where she is either at the Giron's or camp? There is no guard in that area for me, tried sleeping, working in the inn and waiting, nothing happens or appears.
