2) It's right, that often RPGM games feel like a huge waste-of-time and grinding. This is one of the only games, that has it's own graphics and is really well put together. So ASWS really delivers well with the engine. There is some grind, but it is used for creating an atmosphere. You often need to do some repetitive tasks, but you get new dialogs with the girls and you can feel progress. If you just play for the h-scenes, you won't get as much out of it.
And let's be honest, this game wouldn't work well with RenPy, because the graphics (and models) aren't the best as they come from VaM (Klub17).

Well, you could be right. I just checked and my save has around 80 hours playtime. I did cheat sometimes, too. But I think the charm of an adult game is that it has adult content, but also gaming elements. This game imho makes the best out of both of it.
And everyone can decide right at the start, if they want the ability to cheat stuff to fasten the game progress (while external options still are available, too).

I think I found a bug:
It's related to the camp, or more precisely, Imawyn. During the party quest, she says -Why should I care.... The hero wants to raise her trust, but it's not possible, in the tent she says I want to sleep -_- . Maybe it's because I FAILED the Dismantle Bandit camp quest, i.e. Lyvia caught her, although my relationship with Imawyn is 10/10 and I don't know what to do. Maybe I should change the safe file so that the game considers this quest completed? Because otherwise I can't complete the party quest, I can't buy a lute and the guards' mood is always at its lowest...
Here is a save file for clarity, maybe someone understands and can help.

This is very strange, because I had her ALWAYS excited and naked on the bed, but this time at 4 pm she stood still and the quest continued , but still something is wrong with her. There was a bug with the costume, after this conversation she asks for new clothes, BUT in fact she is already in it and the quest was empty (until I changed it to another one it just disappeared). And then I noticed that there were 2 of her in the camp ... I remember exactly that this did not happen, I played before the camp update, i.e. the dance was different (it was impossible to choose who to dance with) + she was dressed differently.
Here's an example when there are TWO of her (not that I'm complaining about 2 elves ^_^ ) it's just that the one that is dressed is NOT material and doesn't react to anything.

I struggled with this one too. You get affection points with Heather only when you knock on the door and give her a stew (don't just look inside and enter)

as my experience, most of sex scene triggered after you did change the angle, speed, times, to make the orgasm, keep repeat and repeat, maybe it will happen!

Weekly Status Report

Good afternoon,

Friday again, so time for another quick review of the past week.

I began the week with continued work on Arianna's scene in her bedroom. In the process it got another 2 animations and is now by itself one of the scenes with the most images/animations in it. I also finally started working on animations for Verena, but shortly afterwards I stopped and thought about it for a moment. I realised that if I were still working on Verena's scene now, the work on the pictures and the scene itself would probably last until the end of the month (because this scene involves confrontation with Arianna as you have already seen in the Image I posted earlier this month). So that would leave no room at all to incorporate new story-related content into the update.
So that was a difficult decision to make. And even though I had already been working on images for Verena's scene, it was ultimately more important to me that the story be pushed forward a bit. This means that Verena's content will unfortunately not be part of the upcoming update, which I want to complete by the end of next week. So unfortunately it has happened again, I have underestimated the time needed to complete the update.

What I will now try to do in the last week of the month is to create a clean conclusion to the story. This doesn't mean that the story for 0.6.1.0 will be finished afterwards, but it will be clean in so far as it doesn't affect the gameplay outside of the quest (no characters are blocked).

If everything goes according to plan, update 0.6.0.6 will be released in the course of next week. As announced last week, I will not be working in June and all active subscriptions will be paused during June (if you have an active subscription you will still be able to access the discord and all posts that I have made and will make during June).

I'll talk again next week about what I'm planning for work on in June in the 2 weeks after my vacation is over.

For now I'll continue working on the story, most likely I'll work tomorrow as well to get some more buffer in case something doesn't work out as planned.

Just looking at it, the only thing it has of any value is the time editing. It doesn't have any of the standard cheats that cheat mods come with, because there is already in game cheats for exp, money and LI stats.

(Admittedly if it was in Chyos's cheat book, I would use it more often, but as it is, if pressed it's not hard to save edit, you just have to save the time two hours ahead of where you want it, and warp to the camp / Arenfield or vice versa. If you change the time of your save in Arenfield it will show up, but npc movements get weird. Going to the camp and back corrects it.)

I don't know how fully it's a one man show, but I have never heard of anyone else connected to it. It's why I side eyed the whiny "sorry ass" up at the top of the page crying about only having one life to live.

Does anyone know what actually trigger the completion of the "Working on the Field" quest?

Even before "Rebuilding the farm" was implemented, I always had to just keep trying different combos of praying with her first, not praying with her, being in her room before she walked in at midnight, or waiting for her to masturbate then walk in. Often just keeping a save at 10:00 pm and 12:00 am. And rerunning each combo until I stumbled upon her wanting it her vag. But back then, there were clear affection thresholds in the walkthrough.

Now the walkthrough mentions the end of "rebuilding" but not "working on". I know I will eventually figure it out, I just haven't figured out when I should be targeting midnight verses just wasting time repeating the same anal scene.

Having a problem with the New clothes quest. I've had it for a long time and the clothes option never shows up in my crafting menu for the table in my house. Is it because I upgraded the house? Did I miss a quest? Do I need a certain item?
