my "whole" argument was that I'd rather have games with fucked up/heavily flawed characters like this one than, say, STS or other Harem games, because they're all pretty similar with their usage of tropes and their only big difference being the artstyle and gameplay gimmick1) Not every story should be flowers and rainbows.
→Response: Perhaps, but it should be handled with a semblance of realism, which this story lacks.
→Response: It is not a binary choice. Stories can avoid rainbows without going to the extreme.
2) [This/You/The mother] sounds like a tsundere/generic person on this site??? (I don’t understand what this is supposed to mean.)
→It is completely unrealistic. She isn’t just quirky, she is outright toxic.
3) This is a videogame.
→ Now you are just trolling / being an idiot.
I was calling the users on F95 toxic2) [This/You/The mother] sounds like a tsundere/generic person on this site??? (I don’t understand what this is supposed to mean.)
nothing about this game is realisticI think the main confusion stems from people think that laddiestlad is advocating for realism, which is apparently not what happened? Because everyone else just seems to argue that the scenario is unrealistic.
I don't know who is more "broken," this character or Ann from Big Brother. Both show serious signs of PTSD.Imagine, for a moment, this is real life. Some girl you like decides to get together with you, and wants to meet up every afternoon for some fun. You miss an engagement at some point, and the next time you meet up you catch her fucking some dude who beat you up in the past. You ask what the fuck is going on, and the dude who beat you up tells you to fuck off, as you head out the girl follows and insults you, says you're not "man enough" for her before returning to the dude to keep getting fucked.
The dude she's fucking starts hitting her, he also destroys your property. The girl finally breaks up with the dude and meets someone better, but she'll occasionally meet up with you and expect you to put out for sex despite already being in a relationship with someone else.
Now tell me you wouldn't excise someone like that from your life with a fucking scalpel. This isn't "oh, she's just quirky and independent", this is "she doesn't respect you or others around her, and treats you as a fuck toy when it's convenient."
It's fine if you like fucked up characters, but don't just assume people who don't like fucked up characters only appreciate 'cookie cutter flowers and rainbows shit' and disparage them as people who believe that, as you put it, " absolutely every woman belongs to them and only them."yes, and? I don't get your issue
you don't like characters like her
I think it's refreshing to have fucked up characters
you are, for some reason, upset that I have that opinion and you keep talking about how you don't like her, how she's toxic and all that
it's ok to have different opinions, "dude"
You forgot to mention that she's your mom and the dude's your dad.Imagine, for a moment, this is real life. Or even keeping it in line with how he's built his scenario, that the "some dude" is her husband, who she's been having sex with before doing anything with the MC.You forgot to mention that she's your mom and the dude's your dad.
Meanwhile you're banging your sis, your teacher, your schoolmate, your school principal and a girl you just met in a comic shop. You're Leo Di Caprio, after all.
Well, he's actually an alternate reality version of her husband, though she doesn't know it. So, in some ways, he is an interloper. I figure since that is revealed before the stuff above, it's not a spoiler. We still don't know why they decided to swap alternate reality wives.Or even keeping it in line with how he's built his scenario, that the "some dude" is her husband, who she's been having sex with before doing anything with the MC.
So, it changes absolutely nothing about the theoretical situation that was being discussed then.Well, he's actually an alternate reality version of her husband, though she doesn't know it.
You have to buy the part in the mall. How do you fix mrs smith computer?
