It´s the same thing, you drop the .rpa file and you can see the files in it. If you want to edit, click on export and you got a .zip with all the files unpacked.
To pack on a .rpa, just drop the folder on the same way and chose > export > .rpa files

As far i noticed in my PC, the Renpy load faster with the packed .rpa than that with the folder files, so it could help you even on personal use

I'll check it out. I should probably mention I don't really know what I'm doing. I have some programming knowledge, but don't really understand how renpy works, so at least a bit of my time is going into unit testing the changes I make. If I were to distribute these edits as an rpa file, would it necessarily need to be a rebuild of archive.rpa, or could it be a new file that gets loaded alongside the vanilla archive.rpa? On its face, that sounds like it could cause conflicts, but what do I know?

In the meantime, I found a crash in the gallery, but for Lailah, not Violette. Not sure if that's the one you meant, but it was being caused by missing assets. I won't bore you with the details, but I threw together some convincing buttons and got it working.

Edit: Attached the .rpy files, in case anyone wants to restore the original dialogue in a later version of game.

does anyone know how to restore these scenes to the latest version of the game?

hey, every time i edit two scenes and repack it into an .rpa file it gives me an incorrect header check. any fixes?
