The developer grew tired of working on the game, stopped development, delivered an unfinished, buggy game, and claimed it was finished in order to comply with his contract with the publisher and be free to continue developing his new game.

I love the artistic style of this game and the sisters storyline but thats about it. 8 years for this and now its "finished", fuck off.

Really is a shame, felt like this game had an insane amount of potential - maybe even enough to compete with games like Summertime Saga and Milfy City with how long it was in development.

Kinda mind-boggling the difference in amount of content to them now that i think about it. Forevertime Saga still gets content and had an ending loooong ago.
I really should mute this thread because it's bad for my mental health to be reminded of this disappointment

I mean people blindly donated to him without really taking into account how little content there was... it was all just smoke and mirrors. Either way, on the positive side, his new game Sugar Service seems a lot more refined and is getting updated regularly. Still not worth my support, but it seems he's learned from his mistakes for the most part.
SS gets something like 15x to 20x the amount of money ATU got while it was alive. While much more complete (ignoring the restart of the development), it never had twenty times the content.
Over the last few years, I’d consider both to be pretty scammy and similar, just one on a bigger scale.
The dev mentioned two key differences: 1) Knowing basic structures from the beginning, so development does not need to fight itself. 2) Having a team that does the work.

I have made a gallery unlocker of sorts... As many people have pointed out not all scenes in the game are in the VR headset gallery, of the top of my head there is a 3way between MC, Sister and Mom that is nowhere to be seen in the gallery.
I've managed to add the mom x sis, sis x effy, and teacher x effy scenes, since the author just forgot to add the buttons but everything else was done. There may still be some scenes missing but since there was nothing in this file, adding them would be non-trivial.
In any case here is the file, to install first you have to use UNREN to extract all .rpa files (Option 1)
Then you have to navigate to: "A Town Uncovered\game\scenes\myhouse\mybedroom\both"
And replace the file: mybedroom_vrheadset.rpy
With this file, keep in mind that the game will have to recompile all it's code the first time you run it after extracting all .rap files, so it will take way longer than usual to start, don't panic.

Nice game, however, in my whole 5+ hours of playtime I had, never had I ever found the way to progress the main story, matter of fact all of the side stories are not interesting, aside from the mom, the sister and Alleway, all of them, without fail, made me pause the game to play something better, also the minimalistic style, while good, makes the sex scenes look goofy ,and the game as a whole doesn't look finished.
I've been playing for like a solid 4 hours, how much content is there for the other world where everyone is having sex? So far I've only been there for a little bit, then some story stuff happened and I went back to my world :/
I just finished the game. There is so little content in the "sex dimension"!!! Based on the description, I thought we would get thrown into the other dimension and get to have sex with everyone, like with the free use fetish (which is my favorite fetish), but no, most of the content and sex is in the normal dimension. The game is good, the ending seems a bit thrown together and sloppy though, but I just really wish there was more content in the sex dimension

Is this really everything? I looked through the VR headset and there were like barely any scenes I didn't already have. And a bunch of characters had none at all. Is this a bug or is that really all the scenes?
