Since he can't copy Summertime Saga anymore, he has no idea of what to do next. The main storyline is too weak/bad and the sidequests aren't going anywhere.
Sigh. This is not the problem. The problem is the credit card companies. They do not want to be involved in illegal activity because it would cost them money. Incest, for all intensive purposes, is not legal. If you want to use credit card companies to make money, you can't use it for illegal activities. The credit car companies will not work with you if you do anything even remotely sketchy and they catch wind of it. No game is ever gonna be worth screwing up a system making millions of dollars otherwise. Paypal doesn't give a shit what you do so long as it's not gonna create ire with Visa, Mastercard, etc. I'm sure paypal has rules too, but a lot them are probably based off not raising the ire of the credit card companies because it's likely a major gravy train for their business model.
Notice how as soon as the incest is gone, everything seems to get the a-ok again. Fucking people is a-ok from a legal standpoint. Fucking your sister is a crime, no matter how conscenting everyone is. This is why you see all the step incest porn from the major porn studios.

Although you're essentially right with the legalities of it, Paypal does has a long history of negating business with adult content even before Patreon, for the longest time artist with even the most vanilla content will still see their accounts frozen and closed if Paypal realized it was being used for such, that's why it was seen as a triumph when Patreon manage to convince Paypal to accept payments for such content on Patreon.
And hence the worries of many other users on how much Paypal is gonna twist Patreon's wrist into starting to exclude other types of content from the platform, even if it never happens.

Sweet Freya, what is your issue with this game? Look if you're a Summertime Saga fan, I could kind of understand. But calm down what does it matter if people get their rocks off in the end?
I am definately sure there is a bug at Mom progression. I am stuck at last objective of mom which requires to sleep at night. Also i can not enter to her room ( to catch her while she is mastrubating ) due to 9 relationship requirement when i have maxed this points.
Something is wrong and i need help...

It's just my opinion: the problem the author is facing NOW is that the storyline ISN'T WORKING. The point is: when the MC reaches home base with Mom & Sis... what to do next? the story isn't going anywhere.
I think it's the same reason that doomed the infamous "Teachers' pets".

Okay in that case I can understand your skepticism. While I don't think it's a clone of Summertime Saga, I can see your point. Right now, all I can say is that we wait and see what happens after he comes back from his break. Though on the matter of the story he did create a public post saying that he is looking for writers, so we might actually have more meat as far as a narrative goes. Though this is only pure speculation.
what is the 'no skill limit' ?? I can't level up my skill point by this limit. (0.18c android version)

Known credit card companies have NO issue with being used for adult services or sites offering adult content (VISA/Master Card etc.). Almost all payment gateways do not support 'illegal activity', though some topics, like incest can be argued when depicted in fiction. These other payment gateways are less known and fall under 'high risk payment' gateways. Usually these gateways serve as a medium that only support bigger credit card as a means to fund their accounts. I am building my own site that is working like Patreon and Kickstarter only for Adult themes and content and I contacted Paypal and Stripe about my business and what service they could offer. Under Paypal's 'Prohibited Businesses' section in their rules they clearly state that they do not support Adult Services and businesses that supply adult content. Stripe is the same way, you are right that the bigger companies are keeping the smaller ones on a leash and the smaller companies try not to raise their ire as you put it because it'd be bad for business. Consider that Patreon is already strongly dependent on Paypal, because many if not most users are using Paypal to pay for subscriptions. If Patreon stops supporting Paypal, then they will lose a lot of people and profits. Also note that Paypal allows anyone to make a virtual account no matter their age, if an underage person would take advantage of this, they could use their Paypal account irresponsibly.

Hey, guys.
I figured that I should inform you that I will be taking August off from working on A Town Uncovered. I'll be using this time to work on another project and re-evaluate my life and the development plan for this game. Just a mental break and a chance to try something different, nothing more, nothing less.
I didn't think I would be taking another month off this soon, so I apologize for this. I will pause the campaign on the 5th of August so you, patrons won't be billed at the start of September. Billing will start up again at the start of October.
The release dates are also pushed back a month to compensate.
What I can tell you right now for the game is that 0.20 will be the main story update, and that when I'm back from the break, I would want to have a writer or two on A Team Uncovered. So pretty much he seeing that this game is not going anywhere due to lack of storyline and sidequests, there is been some complains about the content, cause lets be honest the last 3 updates were terrible text after text, this 3 update were 2 minutes of gameplay atleast for me. and there is some people complaining about this month pay that is being charge and he is doing nothing this month. Lets see what happens after he comes back, is this game going to be abandoned or continued? will it lose popularity and patreons? who knows.
Yes, but incest porn, is not legal, even if it's fake. It's really the porn aspect that screws up the legal aspects, although admittedly, I have no experience on that end of the stick.
If you made art movies about incest that had hardcore sex and you are willing to fight about it being art, maybe you won't go to jail over it. Maybe.
You can do all the legal porn you want and they will happily help you, but there are certain lines you can't cross or else you get cut off. And I'm sure they'd be more than happy to turn you over to the feds than have them up their asses.
The CC's aren't interested in that argument, unless it's somehow gonna make them bajillions of dollars, otherwise, it's not worth the risk to them. They are in the game strictly to make money, nothing else. And they darn sure aren't interested in screwing up the gravy train over what is tiny millions to them.
I wish you all the luck in the world with that site, you're gonna need it. If you host content in the US, have a good lawyer on standby. Even making questionable porn can get you locked up, just look at Max Hardcore.
As for the underage person, there is a lot of hoops they would have to go through to make that happen I'd assume, like having a bank account, and the audacity to actually be willing to pay for porn. I have no idea what it's like to be a child in the modern age, so maybe I'm off on this too.
