Funny how bad AI gets called out right away but bad Daz largely gets ignored.

daz users don't get ignored. they get praised because, they refine their work. as for AI, nothing against it. it's the way some AI users just post what they get when what they get hardly looks what awam characters are supposed to look like. that is why ai gets called out.

to us old timers here used to artists posting daz work, pixil, conair, kthulu, naughtynafz, maks, st-9pol, olddog, whitewolf, etc, well you can see the difference in quality of their work when compared against lazy ai spammers who don't bother to work on their results so that their pieces actually look like awam characters.

that's the problem most, but not all, ai users are lazy.

to make a point, conair and den use ai too, but you don't see them posting sloppy pieces of ai work. they're disciplined enough to refine the pieces they put out. ethan was that way too, then he got sloppy.

Even with this, it was painful with DAZ. I don't know how people manage to do animation from scratch in DAZ without going crazy.

Thank you for illustrating my point so beautifully. I'm not comparing AI to Daz per se. Both can be amazing if done well and you listed quite a few Daz artists that do great work and as my original point was, bad AI gets pointed out but bad Daz doesn't. You highlight the laziness of many AI generators but fail to mention the poor Daz that has been multiplying on this thread. Daz images of Sophia, etc., that look nothing like the characters they are meant to represent, many who look like plastic renditions of barbie dolls, etc. I could go on and on. You read my post and pointed out great Daz but failed to point out the poor.

AI Workflow: Go to an AI portal, put an AWAM picture, some positive and negative lines about what you want (like 6 lines of text), click generate, pick a few... Yeah yeah, ARTISTS!

Daz Workflow: Create a scenario, fill the scenario with "life", create a character, dress up the character, repeat for many characters, put the character in the scene, solve all the perspective, clothing, overlapping, glitches, put some decent light, render. (This is a very basic Daz workflow, advanced requires A LOT more with different SW)

Even comparing the most basic for both Daz and AI, is already eons ahead. Both could be more complicated, yeah, but if you want to compare equally, its ridiculous.

And a side note. The most basic, the ultimate basic Sophia Daz renders, are usually the most childish and stupid scenes that you and I know that the author is 15yo max because that stupidity by 19 is zero arousal. At that age, just the effort of creating any kind of work and putting it out on the Internet, deserves some kind of encouraging like. If I think that Daz crap is from a 40yo man, you could be sure he would get a dislike for how lame that is. You need more context.

Create a friggin Sophia AI thread, is not that hard!

yeah, the 2.10 update (in CG files) is a fucking tease. didn't even see any skin from sophia. last update, she was naked as hell. really shitty in that part. still, sophia looks so damned good.

hey naughtynafz, if you're not that busy, are you willing to update your CE version when awam 2.10 comes out? coz in awam main, gallery unlock is available, but you won't see everything even with gallery unlocked, if it is not in path. in your CE, everything is already unlocked, no matter what path. i know that the original purpose for your CE was to compress the files, then it became something else, combined ed. so yeah, if you do have the time, and are willing, even little by little, will you pretty please update awam ce to 2.10 when awam 2.10 comes out?

The aeroela were visible through the negligee and even more so after they painted her. I thought it was a GREAT update!

Not really sure what your going on about. I'm not talking about what goes into creating an AI or Daz image. I'm referring to the finished product that gets posted here and reactions to it. Bad Ai gets called out straightaway, bad Daz doesn't. Simple.

Dislike something? No thumbs down on this site. Only way I know of is to shame the poster by posting a reply saying that their work is crap. I see comments like that for Ai but rarely see that for Daz. That is the only point that I am making. I like good examples of both.
