My grandchildren have often stolen from their mother in the past. I'm sure these lovely assholes still do that sometimes today when the opportunity arises. Still, I don't think they're about to take his father's wife away. Only if she would bring her mother to the grave with her escapists would this work.
From my point of view, therefore, your analysis with the personality profile is on shaky ground.

The stealing of his father's wife is also a reality in the way many choose to play AWAM (as seen in v.185). These two actions (or considerations) are demonstrated by Dylan and is inherent in his character. My analysis is not much more than a recapitulation of events we have already seen. I do not see how the actions of real life people affect the reality seen in this fictional person. Please, give me a better argument, and convince me from the evidence in the game how my analysis is in error.

I don't want to! I see the personality of Dylan a little differently than they do and I think that's okay.
My experience with the "lovable idiots" contributes to my view of things, and this is what I wanted to make clear with my post.

L&P cares not only a MC or the other characters' rendering but the settings; background, light, blur, view point....

In the TV series and movies, actors does not look at the camera while they are acting. VN also the same. The characters should not look at the camera (audience) but the most of characters in the other games are keeping eyes on us while they are talking or doing something that is really awkward.

The entire point is whether or not it's possible to skip all the incest content. Not just Dylan, but Ellie and Patricia too. Playing just the Sam route is the only way to do that.

I don't play the Dylan route either. Having Dylan sit on Sophia's lap to me is just dumb, when the alternative is so simple. Everything from then on just makes less and less sense from Sophia's perspective.

And yet, the Ellie and Patricia routes seem fine. But then, they don't rely on the taboo factor to be interesting. The women could be family friends and the plot would work just as well.

Agreed. The attention to details and high-quality visuals really make this story immersive. It's no wonder it takes more time to produce.

Is there any way to bypass the incest stuff? It really freaks me out.

There's a way to avoid much of it. I've spent 5+ years doing just that. AWAM was billed as a corruption story. I'd played several, none of which contained incest, which doesn't interest me. At the outset in 2018 where L&P asked the question, "How far would you go?" it suggested to me that though there would be incest following on from the "Mother" part of the title, it should be possible to focus on the "Wife" element. It turned out that AWAM was really mainly about incest, largely M/S incest but even some of that was entertaining, e.g. the bikini show. Choices have to be made but if you choose to avoid incest, large chunks of the game are missed. This is especially true now that Dylan is the real MC.

I played Sam's route as a way to evade it. Unfortunately, from my POV, Sam's route has been trashed but I'd still recommend you to play it. You might like what the Dev did with the last Sam event. Many fans did.

Right now AWAM is in an incest-heavy phase & has been & will be for some time. There is no story left from my POV, as the tale has become average teen porn. AWAM has various other issues which concern me more. Despite all that, I'd recommend it be played, at least once, because parts of it are very good & the renders have excellent quality & attention to detail to make it worthwhile.

Like ancienregimele said, if you skip the incest content there really isn't much of a game left. AWAM was a corruption game with strong themes of incest, and is now primarily an incest game with themes of corruption and pedophilia. Some of the incest can be avoided, and so can some of the pedophilia shota content, but doing so will lock you out of probably 75% of the content on the Filthy Wife route. You'll be left with the lesbian content (which from what I'm told is good, it doesn't really interest me obviously), and some content with some old men.

The Good Wife route was always thin content-wise, and at this point it's basically on life support. Yeah, there's a hint of some action in the future, but the GW route is basically an afterthought.

At one point the game definitely intended on providing content for players not interested in incest, but that intention has been abandoned. If you don't want incest, or if you don't want a great thread full of self loathing while we criticize what could have been, then this is not the place for you.

Sophia/Dylan part 1 was a good update but compared to sam's hot tub and sam's bedroom scene events and Ellie's events, Sophia/Dylan part 1 was just an okay event. sophia/Dylan part 1 wasn't as hot as we thought. That event was just a sex-ed event. Part 1 was a little disappointing for Dylan fans. Lets see, I think sophia/Dylan part 2 will be hotter with a better story than sam's event.

This is only true if you consider the characters in question only in the abstract, regardless of their familiar roles. Sam is an ordinary stranger while Dylan is Sophia's son. Even less exciting events involving Dylan mean much more, at least from the point of view of a player who is minimally involved in the story and not obsessed with the porn aspect of the game.

I think we should not underestimate the importance of the 1st event. Sure, Not much action happened, but a lot of development was made possible because Dylan found a way to legitimize his intention. It needed an event in which the two really have time to "discuss" all this. Considering where Dylan comes from, his progress in this update was tremendous.

However, I have not yet fully understood the timing of the 2nd event. If this event is an alternative branch to the 1st event, I fear that there will be little development, because all the progress Dylan made in the first event do not matter. I really hope Dylan catches up with Sam and Ellie in this update. My guess, however, is that in the end many here will be disappointed.

The second event is Dylan/Sofia, is not an alternative to the first. Is this a possible continuation of the first event or an alternative to Dylan/ Christina.
