L&P could have used this as an advantage to work faster and attract more patrons, like most of the other threads in the top 10 list that have at least 12,000+ patrons.

Lazy cuz he has got more than enough to sustain him.
Greedy cuz he does bare minimum to keep them hooked.
Dumb cuz he is way over in his mind to realize such a simple thing(better production=regular updates=happy patrons+new patrons=Even more money)
