@satoshi36 , seems like a release every 2 months is the realistic expectation. Which makes it 54 months (considering that the upcoming release will close Day 3). Not that hard of a math.

i think it's a brutal mistake that he slaved himself in this one day after another, real time content order. it's bad for the story and us. i mean how much stuff can happen in one day. how much corruption is believable. this can backfire into a slow money milking machine or a weird ass story. i was hyped now i am sceptical.

Maybe you are just malicious & want to quarrel or maybe you didn't follow the what the dev said about the game, so i will simply quote him "The story is written for about 30 days with many slow developing events! And after all you can decide what will become out of the MC! But the story won't definitely be that cheap like you maybe think and saw in many other adult games! I want to tell a very qualitative, multifaceted and slowly developing story with very ambitious renders! But after all everybody wants "the same" at the end, right?" the game was NEVER intended to be just a cheap porn, but to be a STORY with porn

Playing devils advocate here because you seem to be misrepresenting the other guys argument despite it being pretty reasonable.
The story doesn't have to move at a snails pace in order to be considered "not cheap porn". Look at Dreams of Desire or Dating My Daughter, instead of operating around a day limit per update, it focuses more on just content. If the update is only 1 day then it makes sense but if it's more than 1 day, it also makes sense.
Now contrast that with another game that is doing this "1 day" shit, Dual Family. One of the most blatantly milked games i've seen.
Not saying this game is going to be milked, in fact, I am confident it wont. The developer has real passion and foresight for his project which is hugely refreshing but I am also worried about the progression. The developer is throwing around "400 renders" which sounds fantastic but it really could amount to something like 2-3 scenes that don't do anything for the plot or build up.
We'll see, the update is due soon but the concerns in regards to the pacing of this game are definitely valid and simply misrepresenting these concerns doesn't do this topic justice.
The developer could clear up all confusion by simply telling us how much content we can expect in the form of minutes (maybe he already has and i've missed it, if so, my bad).
yep. This speed and length of the second update will tell us how serious lustandpassion is about the game. If it takes like mid january for him to release his next update then i might be out.
This update won't really be the one to judge by. Because of the change from RPGM to Ren'py there will be at least some issues. I would suggest looking at the update after this next one for a better example of how things will be handled.
