Wow, let's not exaggerate, although L&P's renders are OK, (some of them are really nice), they are far from being perfect, actually they are pretty bad, when compared to the work of the best artist here, IMHO.

Why is Sophia even doing anything? It's probably just me, but to me it's Liam's problem, and he should be the one to (at the very least) be the first to attempt to fix the problem. He is meant to be a hotshot fashion designer after all.

That said, the gambling debts could be the catalyst for Sophia breaking up with Liam, and taking the kids elsewhere (for those on the Filthy route). I'm thinking the mansion with Carl and Patricia. You guys probably have other ideas

I can't comprehend the logic of people who are voting for "I'm OK with waiting a little longer for the full update 0.09 with all events."

The developer was originally supposed to be delivering a full game day every month. This then became a half day every month which became a half day every 2 months.

Now he's trying to redefine a half day as "a full update" and a quarter day as a "half update" so anyone with sense can see where this is going. If he delivered the "half update" you can be pretty sure the rest wouldn't be seen until sometime next year because it's already been announced he needs some time off for surgery early next year. That means even more than 2-3 months before the release after the one currently being worked on, depending on how everything goes.

It could easily be June 2020 before that happens so his patreons are totally right to say no more and deliver the full (half day) update.

I think Lust & Passion is making a decent game here and he has some really beautiful art but he's constantly pushing the boundary of how much he's delivering.

I think it is time consuming but also worth remembering that the very first version of this game dropped with more content than any other in recent times so I think the developer had a good idea of how long things take.

A bigger problem is being a developer of this type can't be very fulfilling. We see a lot of problems with slow schedules but also developers burning out, sometimes dramatically. The money is pretty decent but it's not like you can talk to many people about your job and you have no co-workers or social interaction to keep you going.

So you can go a whole day without doing anything on the project and nobody knows or cares. One day becomes two becomes three and now you're getting way behind which motivates you even less to get back onto it.

The most successful games have teams working on them. It's very hard to go a day without doing anything and you have your team to interact with. A solo project is very difficult to deliver just because of the psychology, let alone problems with rendering and so on.
