Leaning against walls might be subjective, but peeping around corners to watch and listen, particularly if suspicious is definitely sneaky, and characteristics of lack of confidence.

It makes me think how much subtle detail the dev has applied, almost to the point of obsession. Some images are truly reflective of individual works of art.

I've fallen in love with Inside Jennifer, if you haven't you should give it a try. It isn't pretending to be brilliant, but it's more than a simple fuckfest too. It's a fun little game that isn't going to overstay its welcome and has great payoff.

But to stay on topic- I really do hope to eat crow. I actually think the next update will be good, I just hope it's good enough to justify the time spent on it.

Re AWAM I was foolishly optimistic when L&P announced the move to new shorter updates. I knew that we would be unlikely to get first shorter update by end of Dec'21 (from a 20/11/21 startpoint) but allowing for extra family time off for Chsitmas / New Year, I was one of those that naively hoped for the first of shorter updates by mid Jan'22.

I have seen his posts on the "new" thing he is collaborating on, and I can understand trying new things take time. But I remain sceptical as to what benefit this would bring, as opposed to simply getting the basic work done faster. But I am assuming this new thing is what his Patreons want and I am not botthered about, and as a non-Patreon I have to accept that I don't get a say in that decision, which is fine.

But on the other hand it does show that L&P appears to be belatedly listening to his Patreons and even more belatedly actually doing somethng about it. I obviously hope this new collaboration works well and L&P is satisfied. We have got 10 days before L&P would miss mitting the end of Jan'22 for this update i.e. at least two full months. I guess we are just going to have to give him a bye on this month's update speed as he takes stock for Act Two of the story, and introduces this new change. So that simply put the time sensitive point to the second update of this year - can he get out a quick update in just a month?

If not, then allowing that some updates will be by their very nature longer in scale and / or complexity, then we won't be able to get one Playable Day in-game done in less than a year in real time.....

I have ranted about it previously at some length. I do not like the depiction of the female lead character.
I may have described her as over-pixelated......

the benefit is to his own wallet and we all seen from past games that greedy devs don't end up with much.
I've hinted to it before and based on stuff I see on pvt groups I really think this VN has its days numbered since I don't see L&P working for pennies when he barely has any motivation to work for a good paycheck.
its a shame because based on the fan art and the interest of people in this topic this would have a lot of room to grow but you cant have everything I guess

It's an expression. If you aren't familiar a "Dear Penthouse..." letter refers to the reader letters that were sent to the magazine for publication. Think of them like an early version of R/gonewildstories. The letters would usually begin with something like:

"Dear Penthouse,

Well, I never thought it would happen to me, but..."

So your letter would be something like:

"Dear Penthouse,

Well, there's this digital game that I play that has a girl that looks like my sister...."

We were already at that point with the previous PD. His current rate is looking closer to 2.5 years per PD. Clearly unsustainable! I have concurred w/GingerSweetGirl that the second of ten releases is the tell all. So, on this we agree. If he is incapable of grinding that out quickly (1 month or so) then ICSTOR is in play as well as SNC Comics from Foot of the Mountain where he used a cut scene to close out the VN.

Here is another one that I noticed a while ago.
A type of situation that L&P seems to like:

The 3 scenes are similar even if the context it's different. We have groping in the first one, Sophia actively teasing Liam in the second, and the last is part of a tease-game wtih Nat.
Nothing particularly novel in terms of erotic scene, obviously. There are many scenes along the same lines in many other games. Still it is peculiar that it is proposed multiple times in different contexts.

And if we want to generalize a little bit, even Sam's hot tub scene has the same theme

no door here, but the idea of a character being secretly teased/groped without the other character in front noticing is once again proposed (don't get down the rabbit hole of the physics/realism of this last one ). Also 3 out 4 are in the last PD 12, and 3 of them involve Liam.

I'm not trying to draw any conclusions of sort from that and it's only natural that this kind of trope start to happen more frequently now that things begin to escalate. I just found curious/interesting that this particular trope (or even cliché) is used multiple times.

I wonder then, just for the pure fun of speculation, in which other (atm known) events we could see a similar situation proposed again.
The 2 sides jobs are possible candidates. Imagine e.g. Sophia trying on the nurse outfit with the door locked, then someone (e.g. another nurse) knock at the door and she has to answer keeping the door half closed. That's would probably sound suspicious for the person on the other side but you get the gist (just need to find the right settings to make it believable). Same for the apostles, e.g. to avoid Ava seeing that she was using forbidden teaching material in the room she stands on the door.

Another, obvious, one could be one of the tasks. Whether it is in the classroom, in the gym or one of the out-of-school tasks. Even in the 4th task, e.g. following the speculations that Sophia is alone in the classroom with Aiden (&C) during the break and with the door closed a similar situation might arise (or with Aiden hidden under the desk, if we want something different than the door )

(again, it's just for the fun of it, I know that repeating the same situation, as erotic as it may be, could be monotonous in the long term)
