VN - Ren'Py - A Wife and Mother [v0.210] [Lust & Passion]

Nothing extraordinary an at this pace it ain't never getting complete it's not worth the time an money the dev should should quit being a developer an start farming an rearing cows the game is almost in development for 5 years i beleive no doubt the quality of renders are great but it lacks storyline an development being a adult game the pace is too slow only focused on quality the dev should reduce quality of renders an pace up it's storyline an focus on characters more an continue with them instead of bringing in new characters which is totally not required.

Before I start with my review, keep in mind this game is approaching it's 6th year of development. In that time, the developer has somehow managed to add one or two actual scenes that are fap worthy.
PROS:

• Extensive dialogue and build up
  • Realistic-ish scenarios and story
• Renders
  • Renders aren't super lazy and uncanny
  • Especially well done in part 2
• Internal monologues
  • Probably the most important part of any female protagonist h game created in the male gaze is the internal dialogue, which the game does very well.
• Character design
  • Protagonist rendered very well and most, I believe, would find her very attractive.
• Part 2
  • I was very disappointed, leading up to the end of part one, however, part 2 gives me a little hope that the developer/s are going to be making changes to how the game is approached.
  • The renders a lot better and the story seems to be speeding up.

CONS

• WAY too much dialogue
  • I don't mind a descriptive story, but much of the dialogue is boring, not funny, or arousing most of the time. The author seems to talk about and describe nothing for an impressive amount of time. It got to the point where I (I rarely do this) skipped most of the dialogue until I reached a scene.
  • Honestly, you could cut out like 2/3 of the dialogue and still have a very clear understanding of the plot and the characters.
  • To me, it seems like a tactic to fluff up the game and excuse the lack of content, which I'll discuss later.
• Limited choices
  • What I find annoying is when the margin of error for H games is so slim to see all scenes. There were several times where I had to cheat in order to see a scene because I didn't choose the right dialogue. Most of the time in games, this is fine, but with a game with such a limited amount of scenes, it's problematic.
• Lack of scenes
  • Like I said before, It's bizarre how long this game has been in development and there's so few scenes. I get it, having a build up is important, but at this point in time, that's all there is.
  • Usually I wouldn't complain about this because the game is still in development, but like I said, the game is coming up on it's 6th year of development.

All in all, it's disappointing. Most of the length of the game seems like filler dialogue and the scenes feel like they lead to nothing. I understand the developer may have had issues monetizing the game and adding the scenes the people may have wanted due to patreon not allowing stuff about incest, however, I'm not sure why they could do what every other developer does, and create a separate incest patch.

I'm not a developer, I don't make games or know how to code, but god knows why this game has been in development for so long and is still so unfinished. Personally, I would believe it if it were a cash grab the whole time, which would explain the drip-fed content.

I hope that part 2 is the step forward in the right direction, for the sake of the game and anyone that has given money toward this project.

Ok so, I don't know why it took me so long to leave a review of this game because it has been my favorite for quite a while, The renders are amazing, and Sophia is by far the hottest female character I've seen in a VN yet, she's perfect, and I really like the story of the game as well, I would definitely recommend it, my favorite path of the game is with her own son Dylan there's something about it being forbidden and taboo that's just so hot about it.

It's slow really slow. Normally this wouldn't be an issue but I mean both the story and the updates themselves.

Pros:
-Good renders

Cons:
-starts as what looks like an incest game but it caved to patreon rules instead of moving to a new site so thats out the window so the incest content comes to a shocking halt
-as above all content is now looking like a HEAVY focus on cuckolding/swaping
-Like a sadly large amount of games the dev listened to the tiny but extremely vocal Blacked group. Your character literally thinks "Wow all black guys must be hung." in one of the scenes and its honestly horrid writing.
-The writing itself isn't bad to start but takes a nose dive around the time the stuff above is mentioned in every aspect not just that one.
-As opening says the updates are very slow I wouldn't be shocked if he is milking patreon.

TLDR: Slow updates a shift from incest to other content. A game that was good to start but the Dev caved and listened to the loud people.

I am reading at some of this 1 star reviews and i am thinking have any of them even played any other games on this forum. It is easily one of the top 10 games on the site. Writing, renders, unbelievably sexy MC, sexy scenes are made with so much thought and are so interesting, build up is top notch.

I played the game back when it was first released and i liked it, i thought that it was fine but nothing special.
Last week i decided to download it again and see what is new. Any boy was i hooked, yesterday i played for 6 hours straight.
The renders are improved when compared to the last time i played it and Sophia is sexier than ever.

I am a big fan of a game Jessica o´Neill hard news and i know that on that thread people talk often about AWAM and similarities between this 2 games. I was always annoyed when that discussion started.
But man it is so true.
Both games have one of the best female MC´s ever with very good renders and writing.
ALso one of the things i always admired Stoper (developer of JOHN), was how good he is at writing this sexy scenes and how good the build up is and writing.
What i mean is that so many games are like this for example: the sexy scenes have no build up. 2 character meet, start touching etc, and the next scene you see they are already both naked and fucking.

JOHN and AWAM are completely different. Both developers like to set up the mood first, and the scenes last long while the mood is building and getting more and more exciting.
I just love it.
For example yesterday i played AWAM and was on day 19 i think where Sophia and Sam were in the jacuzzi after his rock concert. That scene one a prime example of what i am talking about. So sexy without any of them even taking their clothes of.
I am in love with this game now, and i even think it surpassed JOHN in that regard.
Also the sexy scenes are so imaginative and varied. From posing those kids as a model for drawing to jail scene, to all the things she had to do for Aiden in the classroom.
Absolute gem of a game and it has everything i like in these type of games.
And then i look at 3.5 stars rating and think about all the kids that gave 1 star rating, probably kids who do not know to appreciate the quality of the game because all they want to see is dick entering a pussy.
Long comment, but the game deserved it.

This one is not good from the very beginning.

The writing is awful and full of cliche stereotypes that make me wonder what decade the Devs live in. The plot is ridiculous and lazy. An example is the school becoming private property of the janitor at night or said wife and mom freaking out because a box of lingerie in front of the movers yet hardly bats an eye when daughter ODs the son on Viagra. That much would have had his blood pressure in the toilet.

There are no likeable characters, Daughter is a narcissist, son a sociopath, mom is so uptight she freaks out about changing in front of her sister or that son might see her in a bikini.

The son and neighbor are supposed to be getting ready for college yet neither look like they have gone through puberty. Mom tries to help son relieve a boner by showing him a hint of pubic hair!? Really!? I guess he hasn't discovered internet porn yet either.

There really are no redeeming qualities at all. I could go on.

While your expectation in the game is high deception content, that is, when you are thinking about having sex with others, the unnecessary prolongation of this job is so oriental that the producer of the game is making people wait unnecessarily just for money. I end the game that I met with very good expectations with these sentences please don't play.

AWAM is better than its rating if you play it the right way. And the right way (I rarely say this) is using the cheat system that is already a part of the game.

Overall, this is more of a teasing VN than actual pornography and its a very very slow burn that develops a convincing story over longer periods of time. You wouldn't think after an hour that AWAM has anything to offer in terms of plot, but the storytelling does improve over time.

The main problem of AWAM (without cheats) is that you get locked into paths quite early and the game likes to remind you of all the things you cannot have because you haven't acquired enough filthy points, or Patricia points or whatever. This COULD be a gamebreaker. But it is not.

Simply use the cheat system to add points whenever you need them and style the narrative according to your own taste. By adding points you can open events that would otherwise require to replay large parts of this very long game.

Ps. Despite its shortcomings in game design I awarded the 5th star because the lesbian path in AWAM is one of the best sensual lesbian paths in any AVN. So if you are looking for a great lesbian experience with a focus on teasing instead of porn, this is for you.

A bit slow burn, but pretty enjoyable game, waiting for the updates as always.

The only real and realistic (as far as possible) visual novel with a lot of taboos, build up tensions, unbelievably good renders and a lot more.
The only flaw is very, very slow development progress, and that is a big problem and main reason why supportors of the game get in conflict with the creator and why they "spit" on the game even if its not needed.

The latest update was HOT as FUCK!! The best update so far right after the "Tutoring the Young Boys Lesson 2". We Finally got to see Sophia blow of some steam with SAM and not to forget the HOT Ass ANIMATIONS. Surprisely it was the BEST ONE.

The kissing Animation was fucking Amazing. It got me all worked up. No wonder Sophia could'nt control her inner desires and touch her naughty kitty. Im surprised SAM could have atleast give a PECK on her Kitty.

The only SAD part is that we all got to wait for other 5-6 months for another hot/cheating scene to happen. I have always been a FAN of L&P Since Day one and just wish that he/she does not abandon this Piece of ART in midway. Good Luck to the Dev and his/her team. Cheers!!

Currently on update 0.175, and we're finally getting some real cheating action, that's a VERY slow burn, took us years to get here. Worth it.

We even got some animations, they look sick AF, but I imagine how much time they take to make...

I like such games. Keep it up! Even if the updates are slow the quality of the renders is good. And the story is also good. Please don't abandon this game. I will be eagerly waiting for when this game will finally be completed and I can play it over again and again in every possible way. Also please keep on working on the cheating concept. I would like if the husband never finds out about it while she keeps on going behind his back cheating on him and enjoying it. I'm not a big fan of sharing content but if you are including it in game then please make it optional. Personally I would like if the husband never has any sexual encounters with any other character other than Sofia, which she refuse or accept on her will. And while he remains faithful to Sofia, she cheats on him behind his back. That's the kind of plot I want to see, and request you if you could develop the game like this. Anyway, I really love this game and I wish the Developers Good Luck!

Animations and graphics deserves 5 stars definitely, problem is with a story that I don't appreciate that much. It started very, very good. But from some reason creator start loosing his imagination or sight of view. I compared game Jessica O 'Neal with this one but AWAM lost it tracks, short, too short updates not so interesting and cold as ice cream, but cute must say. There is a lot of space to improve and give back that sexinest and hotnest in game. So many characters to start a story with, don't just give us one character by one in every single update to trigger something. This game deserves much more, it's realistic and very deep minded. I agree that plot looks amazing... Teacher, milf with sexy daughter and horny son. Crazy sexy sister... Etc. Use that, you can't miss it. This game has infinitely story possibilities.

One of the best stories in a while, amazing graphics and quality. My favourite corruption story where MC gets turned from devoted wife to a slut. Very realistic and good paced not like other games. Only bad thing is that i caught up to the update and waiting for a new one like addict))

Biggest blueball/cocktease of a VN that I've ever played. I assume it will just continue to be a cocktease indefinitely - developer is gonna milk the Patreon for as long as they can, and not ever have any incest, because Patreon. Even though there's an incest tag, I'm not sure why.

The incest tag should definitely be removed from this. There's no incest in this game, and probably never will be. It's nothing but a long Patreon-milking COCKTEASE.

For those of you who are suffering from blue balls from this cocktease of a VN that has been dragging on for years, go check out the "Wife and mother fan game". The fan game is better, and provides the actual content that we want to see that's not in the main game. Dev should take a hint from the fan made game, and get off Patreon and onto Subscribestar or something, and put some actual fucking sex and incest into the game, and delete the incest tag in the meantime.

It's a damn shame, because it's nice visually, and fairly well written. There's huge potential for sex scenes and threesomes in this story that could be fucking awesome and satisfying. But it just constantly teases and hints that something juicy might happen, then nothing happens, and the game ends. If it was an early release version or a demo or something, it wouldn't be as bad, but this shit has been going on for years now.

This could've been one of the best adult VNs, but I feel like I've been deceived and I wasted my time playing it. Despite the nice visuals - 1 star, because of the cocktease, blueballing, waste of time, and incest tag that shouldn't be there.

Game that has the best plot/realistic story i've ever played, the pacing can be slow but the buildup is what makes you keep going. Characters vary a lot from kind to assholes but the main asset is the MC she's so lovable and beautiful.

At the beginning this was amazing i love it still and the quality is good but in the last couple of months it gets just annoying and some weird updates and scene like this in the school that i really didnt enjoy at all.

I have been a massive supporter of AWAM for a long time now and have defended LP numerous times but I feel AWAM has lost it's way. Too many branching stories too many characters introduced. Too many things going on at once. Obviously a lack of proper erotic content is a concern too. I understand LP has a plan in mind but with the latest update it really has lost it's way.

I feel if it had just stuck to the son, daughter, sister, next door neighbour and maybe the maid then things would have been ok. But the side quests are holding the game up and none of these branches have been completed either. It's a maze trying to play.

I thought changing the way the game plays also moving it to a two part save system which has confused many was also dumb. I mean why change something that wasn't broken into what we have now? It's confusing and dumb. Why not just keep updating main standard game rather than spliting it, like so many VN do.

The game is a wife, a mother. But not a lot has happened in the wife or mother category now for a while. As I said it is confusing and too much going on. It's a brilliant game and I don't mind the slow burn but it needs to be scaled back and do one or two paths to completion instead of 10-12 unfinished paths simultaneously. Hope going forward LP simplifies it and gets back on track with the core game. With son, daughter, sister, Sam and husband story.
