I would suggest that if you were to implement a change in release schedule that you do the poll first. Getting the opinion of the people supporting you financially is always a good idea IMO, even though it can be a double edged sword.Yeah, sorry I guess I'm just a little stressed out at the moment! It was really not my intention to attack you. It was meant more generally that faster and better hardware could speed things up a lot. But this has just its prize. I also got my own strategy of working which fits best for this game and the amount of text. But I will find a way to release next update (0.025) faster. next to releasing a half a day. I don't know if I should start a poll on my patreon site at all, for releasing updates for a playable half a day, or just doing it. Cause some supporters said they don't mind longer waiting time if content is sufficient.
I have to agree here as well, I would rather wait longer for a proper update, than a monthly update that adds at most 5 minutes worth of gameplay to the game. The 4-6 week updates coming out for most games lately all seem to be shorter and shorter everytime, almost like the devs are in a competition trying to see who can get away with doing the least work in the most time and still retain their supporters.Actually I find this kind of attitude kind of healthy. I really prefer to play a game with extreme quality each 3 months rather than play a mediocre VN each month. It would be much better for every player if devs weren't so Patron addicted. I think half a day update each month might be a fine solution if it brings same quality but update per 3 months isn't really that bad in my opinion.
Go to page 1 - check-out first post or go to his patreon site and download the demo.has he released the first update if so does anyone have the link
Not necessarily. There are plenty of games wherein an excess of renders was mere bloat to cover up the thinness of the story. This was an issue for the RPGM version of this game, where you were made to do way too many mundane and irrelevant things to get from one plot point to the other. It gets frustrating. (No, I do not want to find your boots whenever you want to leave the house...) The Ren'py version conceals much of this because you don't need to walk from one point to the other, but the danger remains.Yup, it's not synonymous but it usually adds to overall quality. Same scene made out of 3-4 renders (pretty standard amount) will be objectively worse than scene made out of 50 or more renders most of the times (always?).
It's comments like these that genuinely have me in stitches.@Lust&Passion , I hope you understand for the sake of your peace of mind when you are a creator of art, no matter what it is and how good it is there will be always people who will criticize it in all sorts of (often unreasonable) ways. This has always been the case for even the most brilliant artists
In my opinion, better to have too many than too few.So this game has to many renders and blooming love has to little, wheres the game with just the right amount of renders?
I am glad I could offer you a good laugh. It's comments like these that genuinely have me in stitches.
The dude is making a porn game, he's gonna have the mother (Daz3d render) inevitably getting gang banged by some black bulls (Daz 3D renders) as her Daz 3D rendered Son watches in horror with some Russian tier translated text explaining it all to us.
Having you paint the creator of all of this as some sort of a modern day Leonardo Da Vinci is truly comedy gold.
Never change f95zone, never change.
Yes, you're absolutely right! Daz Studio does not create scenes by itself. It's all the artist's vision! It's like painting a picture but instead of brush and paint you are using your mouse and keypad! To create an awesome picture you have to know much about the program and the usage of light, poses physiques, surface/texture editing etc. (98% of the ready models/props/environments are not very well elaborated and need some manual refinement!) and have an artistic vision of how a beautiful, natural scene has to look like and where preferably position the cam! Also some Photoshop re-machining is needed for a really great result! There are some astonishing and beautiful daz studio render works out there (not in games!) which needs serious talent and artistic skill to be created like that! What concerns the stimuli animations: yeah, you are just using the work of someone else. BUT: why devs use them is cause creating animations yourself takes some time and also some movement physiques understanding. Actually just for me, creating own animations isn't difficult but time-consuming. You can just watch a video of how for example a body is moving and try to copy this movement step by step to Daz Studio. That's why I will use animations for the really important scenes only, predominantly erotic ones of course.@wewlad , you have a point about people vastly exaggerating when commenting such games. And that's mostly the authors' fault. In their desire to make their work look special, they omit, or downright lie about the simplicity of their games. I always get on edge when devs of RPG Maker games talk about coding, when there is obviously no coding involved in their games. Or lately every DAZ based game uses Stimuli's stock animations, and when someone compliments them all they give back is a thank you. What are you thanking for? You just took the guy's work and loaded it in the program... ugh.
I disagree about you claim that using DAZ Studio automatically makes your work generic. There are many very talented artist who use DAZ Studio out there.
Dude, take as much time as you need, your game feels like a breath of fresh air from all this mediocre shitYes, you're absolutely right! Daz Studio does not create scenes by itself. Just to clarify things, I'm not saying that using stock animations is a bad thing. I'm saying taking credit (even silently) for something you didn't do is low. And I'm definitely not referring to you, just the scene in general. What concerns the stimuli animations: yeah, you are just using the work of someone else. BUT: why devs use them is cause creating animations yourself takes some time and also some movement physiques understanding.
