I don't believe I've ever seen this sort of criticism from the Patreon page. If this is representative of recent activity on both the Patreon page, and in the emails he's receiving, then it helps to explain the sudden transparency. When I was a patron I very rarely saw criticism, and never this blunt. If this is the mood of his patrons, then without change it spells doom for AWAM.

He has not brought alcohol in in his last two events and yes Sam is not perfect and they all have there different styles in trying to seduce Sophia but Dylan's was like bull in a china shop,dumb/reckless with no real direction.
Sam last event was sooooooooooooooo bad that I almost threw up,creepy/cringe worthy event it was just bad so very bad

I don't think the endgame is important. Some routes will be quite dark for Sophia.
If he progresses enough on as many routes as he can in a 2 year term it's pretty good.

Last two ?? The hot tub event does have wine involved. Day 18 event does not have alcohol and apparently without alcohol there he made zero progress physically with Sophia.

So Sam used the alcohol to his advantage and if Sophia had not had a bottle with her then nothing would of happened.
I thought that the Sam event before last Sam did give Sophia a finger tip massage that got Sophia hot under the collar so I would say that he made some progress in this event

I too think that this novel is starting to get dark/unpleasent and the MC attitude is starting to annoy me as well.
How often do we hear the thoughts/consequences of Sophia's actions?
It would seem that as long as Sophia gets pleasure in what she is doing(forced or otherwise) she is happy and fuck the consequences of her actions.
We don't see any remorse/guilt from Sophia so how much longer can she use alcohol as an excuse for her behaviour.

The reflections on her behavior that we at Sophia have sparse and often remain on the surface. That was most evident when her husband almost caught her cheating. L&P caused her to experience panic because she had to hide her betrayal but did not feel too deeply guilty. With this superficiality of her person one is surprised that Sophia has remained loyal to her husband and her family so far.
But this is a porn game. The developer cannot afford a lot of internal struggles, which I see again and again in some of the comments here that do not understand the whole discussion about internal dialogue at all. Normally the next Sam event would be characterized by the fact that Sophia totally rejects Sam. No more Sam points! Even if Sophia is in love with Sam, closing the last event might have acted like a reset switch. Sam would have to give in and hope for a chance later. Really believes an L&P dares to write something like that. The shit storm that would break in on him would be gigantic. If I as a player don't make the decision for Sophia, after the next Sam event she will be exactly the irresponsible slut that we actually didn't want to see in her. Perhaps this is exactly the intention of L&P, the player has to fill in the missing building blocks of the inner monologue and then make a decision. Sophia is just an avatar.

True. But as we know, we have the choice for her to rejact him (No Sam Points). The Other choice we get the Sam Points with a little step forward betweeen them.
