As I've said before (in I think it was the off-topic thread), as long as L&P claims realism and class in his description of his game, he can and should be held up to that standard. Those words being in the description are entirely up to him. If he were to drop those terms, add that Dylan is the 2nd MC (I believe he's said it, just not in the main description of the game), then the game would likely reflect actual gameplay more accurately.
Of course there's going to be some degree of artistic license. It exists even in historical fiction. As far as I'm concerned, as long as there's internal consistency, I'm usually pretty happy. As a sci-fi fan, that's usually all I want. I don't believe there's internal consistency in the game either (I've gone into that before), but at least the term is specific enough people shouldn't be arguing about what "realism" even means.
The problem is not L&P but a few people here on the forum who think they have to force AWAM in a direction it has never gone and cannot go. It was always stupid to believe that a realistic porn game is possible, and even more stupid to read something like that into AWAM, when the game has contained unrealistic elements from the beginning (even apart from the Incest story).
Again, to really get the message across: the only thing it needs is for people like you to stop pretending that the game is or was something else,as it actually is.
I'm starting to think that the only reason the Dylan/Amber path exists is to put lewd content for Dylan into the game because there are no plans for any between Sophia and Dylan for the foreseeable future.
Those that want content between a young boy and a MILF have the Sam route. Adding Dylan/Amber only repeats the kink on a path for those that have already decided not to play Dylan content by sending him away to boarding school.
AWAM is quite obviously a slow burn game. Of course Sophia/Dylan won't really go far yet, just as nothing much really happened between Sophia/Sam. Anyway, The plan is for Dylan to move ahead of Sam, if I understand it correctly. That doesn't have to mean much, since Sam hasn't really achieved much yet, but your theory is flawed.
Generally speaking, it has to be said that Dylan/Amber was a brilliant idea from L&P, as it creates a mirror to the story with Sam/Sophia. This could be used very well in the voyuer path, for example, to explain why Dylan doesn't get jealous. We can only hope that L&P will somehow use this in the story, not to keep Dylan apart form Sophia (as you maybe hope), but to move the story forward.
