It's weird how so many (sex) game devs have health issues that prevent them from doing a thing. Not saying that they're not genuine, it's just.... curious.

I've wondered about that too.
My theory is that it's equivalent to the theory about Cat pictures on the Internet - in the 90's and 2000's the high ratio of Cat pictures online wasn't because more people had Cats, just that Dog people weren't spending all their time inside and in front of a computer.

If you're someone with a flawless constitution, jogging and cross-fit on the weekends - you're less likely to be getting into the 3D modelling, computer graphics and animation fields that precede indie game development, even less likely to end up in the one-man porn game passion projects that most of these games are.

Isn't dark silver the creator of big brother and now the god awful glamour? I've been on this site since 2016, you have a better chance of selling me a flooded house than convincing me that DarkSilver is a good dev lmao.

But more importantly, how is the content not great? It's decently written with great renders and a slow-burn story, which is a change of pace from "MC fucks everything that ever moved." The problem is there's very little of it.

Yeah, it's a bit odd, but it could be because most of these devs are one-man bands, meaning there is no slack or anyone to cover.

Also, with all of the games being made the ones who are getting ill are the ones who have been working on them for a long time, so maybe there's a correlation there.

If you're living in Germany, with one of the best health systems in the world, you don't fly halfway around the world to South Korea, to do a surgery because of "health issues"! So actually I am indeed in a flawless constitution and do a lot of sports to keep in shape (always been a sports maniac), which is my only leisure activity. Even wanted to become a soccer/football pro, playing in Bundesliga teams in my youth until I was 19 plus I had piano education for 12 years. And the idea for the game I got during my studies to become a teacher (subjects: sports, english) and also while being in school and having a hot female teacher, who served me as an example for Sophia. You see, many of the aspects of my life you can find in my game! Sophia's, Ellie's, Patricia's and Dylan's passion for sports and fitness. Dylan, who's a talented scorer and is dreaming of becoming a soccer/football pro in Europe. Sam's music passion and knowledge. The music taste of the protagonists. Sophia, the sports and literature teacher, which would also be my subjects as a teacher. Etc.

But what I can agree with is the point that this kind of work can cause you "health issues" someday. Because working every day (plus having a side job), practically without any recreation, plus dealing with other important life matters, is anything but healthy! I feel a lot of people think if you get a little money from Patreon you're working on the game full time, but that's rarely the case.
