It sucks because now every scene has to include something erotic, since it takes ages for the characters to appear again, or people will riot. A slow burn shouldn’t have so many routes, or the fire will be consumed before it even has a chance to spark.

It would have been better with denser content—richer storylines, deeper character development, and more meaningful interactions. Fewer routes with more substance would’ve worked better. Now, it’s too late—AWAM is doomed to be a dumb porn game with a mediocre plot.

from now on my Android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like Windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.

There are just too many side stories. This was already the case in the first part (e.g. some very stupid events in the Aiden story), but it wasn't as noticeable because not much had happened in all the storylines. At least the events that were not clearly connected to the main story should have been left out. Without Dylan, Ellie and Liam, the entanglements and possible consequences are missing. This, along with the bad story (with more blackmail), is what makes the content of this update so superficial and repetitive. Sophia alone is not enough. It has to be Sophia as "a wife and mother".

Anyway, I think the game can still be saved. L&P just has to condense the game and start to really thoroughly remove unnecessary stuff. This shouldn't be a problem, especially with side-stories like the one in this update, as they have practically nothing to do with the rest of the game. What I don't agree with is the idea that the story (and I mean the main story) is moving too fast. Even if some people here don't want to admit it, AWAM is a porn game, and like all porn games, there has to be some action. It just shouldn't be watered down into insignificance by endless repetition, but should have meaning in the story. L&P has already set the stage for complications in several ways. Dylan and Ellie offer a lot of potential here, but Liam could also come into play (e.g. ... if he would just happened to witness one of the events ... perhaps a glance in the neighboring room?). ...The game has so much potential, it would be a shame to waste it. But please not more of these old gentlemen. It only wastes time and damages the game.

I mean, we know his planned development list. We know how fast he works. We know that he keeps breaking 'days' into smaller and smaller increments for individual releases. There is no way that things will speed up, unless, like many here have pointed out, he hires a team - which he will not. I've worked for, with, and above many people in my lifetime. People do not change ingrained behaviors. What we've always gotten out of L&P is exactly what we can expect out of L&P.
