I play Anna Exciting Affection, or AEA, as it's 'affectionately' known. It's straightforward escapist sexual fantasy & includes a range of fetishes. There's no pretence of reality. I came back to it after a year away, when such plotlines as there were had got too silly to waste time on. Now the writing has improved with help being taken onboard, although the last update was full of bugs.

So what? Well, Anna has a gorgeous look overall but that includes breasts & an arse of cartoon-like proportions. She wears improbable revealing outfits almost all of the time, some of which have been serious crimes against fashion, rather than being what IMO could be described as sexy. She belongs to the group of game protagonists who walk around with their stocking tops on show, as though that's something seen on every street, or in every office, on a daily basis. Nicole in The Tyrant was another mega-voluptuous culprit & surely we've all encountered many more in various games.

What's your point, you may ask. It's simple. I don't want AWAM to become another AEA or The Tyrant. AWAM had something that all the other games I've played didn't have but now that's not as clear-cut as it was.

If I want fratboy meet&fuck action, I play AEA, or a number of similar offerings. We have a market absolutely saturated with porn games, yet many are/were strangely similar & obviously catered to the same clientele. Such games can be great, when taken in small doses & have the advantage of not getting players like myself too invested or concerned about the characters, game development, or anything else. They are, in effect, beautiful but ephemeral, like cherry blossom, or a firework.

AWAM was different.

He is going down a slope of poor writing. Before .115 everything was fairly tightly written. Then he started taking the occasional easy path. Then .130 dropped one very poorly done scene and a couple other scenes that generated some concerns, like path expansions. With all the different threads, paths, links, twists, and options he has a literal maze to navigate himself. Which is much more difficult for him than us. He has to have it all tie together. Wow, that hurts my cranium just thinking about it.

Is he burned out? If so it means he IS writing as he goes so, at best he had an outline. If this was all written he would only need to make minor adjustments and be creating scenes that fit his vision.

Second production rate.. It would explain the slow production if he was working from an outline. He is in need of the time to pull this all together in his head. He is the lone worker so, no other option. The two issues may be tied together. Maybe not.

Like Bane said he is human. Mistakes occur. Whatever the issue, as ancienregimele says, "AWAM had something that all the other games I've played didn't have but now that's not as clear-cut as it was."

And there are some here who like the Sam Route. I don't like Sam but I accept that other players want to see their favorites too.

The only logical Dylan route is sexual, with Liam continuing as the head of the family, the source of income, but unaware of what is happening. Same with Sam.
There's nothing else to talk about, not with Dylan, Sam, Zac, Aiden. There are purely sexual routes, some with domination or submission others more romantic and sentimental, but nothing more.
Sophia gives in little by little, her reasons being different (one is for Sam, another for Dylan, ..) but the reality is that we have only one explanation: the need for sex.

And then, the question arises: why special conditions between candidates of the same age?
