This whole story with the unknown developer has always seemed unbelievable to me. It is much more likely that L&P simply wanted to learn Blender and took the time to do so. The whole thing just leads to the fact that he makes even less progress (with the game story) than that was already the case. It's just sad how little L&P understands about project management (especially reliable goal setting). The whole project is slowly becoming a task whose completion he will have to pass on to future generations. :ROFLMAO:

It's just amazing. The best thing users could do is to not come back to this thread and leave the game, but they're still here. It's like a trauma, anger at L&P or maybe a drug-like effect that really makes them come here.

Either because L&P is a master in psychology and knows how to manipulate his patreons such as the practice of narcissistic psychopaths with gaslighting and here in the forum those who realize his manipulation still have them hooked through anger or maybe he just does it unintentionally, but he's got them all addicted in a good way or a bad way.

In the end he gets what he wants: to earn a good amount of money.

Funding L&P is not an option for me because I dont want to reward milking Devs. IMO we have to considere AWAM something like a sociological experiment and participating in the forum is great fun.

This is just sad. Imagine spending a bunch of money on a project, believing in it and its developer, and then basically getting hit in the face time and time again. Like Adolfo said in this quote, it's just disappointing. And L&P himself doesn't care at all.

Perfect example of this is the thing with L&P's response yesterday after deleting one of his supporters Patreon posts for exposing the disaster with his animations, then saying it was a bug on Patreon that deleted the guys post. L&P literally called this guy "some random patron" and tried playing the victim card just because people choose to believe what this "random patron" had to say. He treats even those who are feeding him like dirt. This can be seen in so many posts on Patreon, it's actually crazy that he's still growing at this point. Without these people, he wouldn't have anything. Nothing.

And without this pirate site giving him free publicity everyday “some positive, some negative” he never would have reached the amount of subscribers he has.
Let’s face it nobody goes on Patreon or subscribestar to find a new artist or game to pay for, you download it free here first and if you like it and the dev is cool like “releases teasers or renders on their own here” and regular updates, then if you like how there game is going you subscribe to them

Tell me, if some random guy, just pays, goes onto a Dev's patron and comments.

"I have worked on animations for 11 years, I can do what you do in 10-15 days" or " I can wrap up the work you do in 10 days in 1 day".

Heck most people here know me. I don't work on any 3D programs. But if i join patreon with a different name than here. And comment i have spent all my life making animations and renders. Will that make my claims true. Think about it.

Where is the validity of this claim. Did you check this person's background. How do you know he actually is saying the truth. He could just be a pissed off patreon or one of the spiteful people who subscribe just to tarnish a dev. What part of his statement gives Solid proof that he was right about what he said.

I see you burning down L&P and saying he is absolutely in the wrong as there is no concrete Evidence that he is right. What about looking at this argument from both sides. Just antagonizing someone is every easy. All it takes is a bunch of people to buy it.

Plus on the offtopic thread someone actually did do a little research to show that MAYBE what L&P said is true. There are incidents like that on patreon. What is your evidence that that man was 100% right. Based on which you have been non-stop on this topic painting with utmost certainty that L&P is the bad guy.
