There's been a fair amount of commentary & speculation about what appears to be Sophia's oufit for attending the meeting with Aiden at his usual hangout, which is a location not in public view. We have the picture of Sophia looking dubiously at the ensemble. View attachment 1766442 At first glance I thought this was a strange choice, consisting as it does of a skirt which resembles a laced petticoat or half-slip & an easily dislodged tube top. If "I" know that this is suitable only for a party, reception, or to impress a date, then I'm certain that a rich, sophisticated woman like Sophia knows it. She is, after all, a lady with an impressive wardrobe.

I think back to the infamous romper & how she wore it consciously or sub-consciously to be attractive for Sam. I was set against the romper. It wasn't something a 38 year old would wear to a rock concert. Events at the biker bar could have played out badly but in the event Patricia packed her trusty sidearm & the bikers were gentlemen.

We know that Aiden & his mates are definitely not gentlemen & that in Andre's case this is an understatement. Sophia is well aware of this, having just undertaken task 4 FFS. Unless there is something missing, something we don't yet know, I find it incredible that Sophia may again be sub-consciously trying to look sexy for 'somone'. This is where realism once more takes a nosedive.

Even if she wears this in the knowledge that Don Morello's soldiers will turn up, there's no way to be certain of their arrival at a precise time, city traffic being what it is.

I am a keen follower of the tasks. Throughout their prescence in the VN I've defended this storyline against sceptics, detractors, white knights & would-be kink-shamers of all persuasions. I've also been a fulsome supporter of the originally stated aim of 'realism' in this tale. There's a fine balance to be struck, not to forget the need to combine this with not taking things TOO far at this stage. Are we to believe that Sophia is now so corrupted that she would choose an outfit like this? Do we really think Aiden & co. will have a rational discussion upon seeing who & what is before them, in their hidden den?

AFAIK Sophia has to dress sexily each day for school as part of her 'verbal contract' with Aiden. I must have missed the part where he voiced & then was able to enforce his wish for her to dress like this & go braless all the time. That would be impossible in any case. Now we wait to see how many months it will take for this mystery to be solved, if it ever is.

We can imagine that the corruption has progressed, that Sophia is less inhibited and she might not care much anymore about the general dress code, that she is in a state of mind in which she gets "confused" about the assignments (she forgot to remove the bra before school, here she might think she has to wear a sexy dress anyway even if it's not the school). Still it feels odd.

Not to mention that she arrives at the meeting with different corruption paths: this could be explained/coherent in the full 4th task where she exposed herself in the class art and in the classroom, but the meeting happens even with much less corruption, i.e. she didn't exposed her breast in the art class (the most "chaste" version of the 3rd task), which prevented even the option of fulfilling the 4th task.
Sure, making different versions of the event with different dresses according to the previous choices it will require more work, but if the reason for the dress is to be found in the corruption progress there are inconsistencies to say the least. (And I won't go further on my personal cry for the increasing complexity of the story)

And even thinking that she might wear something on top of that, like a jacket and a long skirt is still strange (just think about the hot San Alejo) but I admit that I'm the last person who can talk about fashion, let alone female fashion.

I'm pretty sure that like for Sam's event, we will find our answer in Sophia's thoughts. That time he admitted through Sophia's thoughts that the (popular) choice was debatable to say the least, let's see what will be the rationale behind this choice.

All in all, just my impression, it felt that the this part was rushed in the release, and probably even cut out and postponed to 0.161 due to the pressure of making the release etc...

Sophia did everything that Larry asked of her(prison visit) and Morello was very happy and cancelled the debt.
Sophia then does task 4 but stops the rape of Jen and then has to decide whether or not to ask Morello for help with dealing with Aiden.
Now my question is if Sophia asked Morello for help then why is Sophia still meeting Aiden at his den as she does not need to?

Contrary to the dress though, I'd tend to frame this as a narrative device to use a single event for the resolution of the Aiden's deal or its progress. Probably it will serve as "the grand finale" of the Aiden's task with Morello's men barging in or for the continuation of the tasks. Two... pigeons(!) with one stone.

And even if going to the meeting anyway is not the rational thing to do, we cannot expect characters to always act rationally otherwise there will be no e.g. horror movies ("let's split up", "let's hide upstairs" and so on) nor interesting stories, because there is nothing more boring than someone that always take the right and wise decision. And even in RL people under pressure tend to act more irrationally than rationally.

Nevertheless, as for the dress, I expect that theses questions will be addressed to at least to justify and rationalize her choices, to preserve that semblance of realism that made the story so good (so far).

Just to point out - if there were fewer people supporting the "realism policy" we could have gotten much closer to sex by now. At this point I just hope the dress indicates that the creator is starting to abandon the "realism policy" and at least some upskirt groping will take place (I have no illusions that this is a long shot) ... man, upskirt groping after 5 years of development just does not make any sense with the current lifespan of human beings. Don Morelo's men will appear, and maybe he himself will help her and even punish Aiden's and his men. It may also be the case that if Sophia is humiliating and Don Morelo's men are late, Jenifer will intervene as part of women's solidarity.Or it could be a casual meeting, Don Morell will inform Aiden and his men to stop harassing Sophia. The first 4 tasks were pretty mild (for an adult game standard), and slapping Andre shows she won't become a mindless whore. It's hard to imagine there will be full-on sex in the tasks, even for the last one. She might become "free grope" for her students, but I don't think they'll gangbang her. There are still 8 tasks to go, but it's only during 8? days (or a couple more). Sadly we'll probably never know, there is more chance the game gets abandoned than it gets to the 12th task in a decade or two.

Atleast 8 more updates.

The first release consisted of 0.155 and 0.160. The next update was supposed to be the one with Dylan coming home from boarding school, but is now about the meeting between Sophia and Aiden. I guess it's still possible that this update also includes the Dylan part, but it might aswell mean an extra update for PD13, making it 11 in total (for now).

Every one of these updates was supposed to be released rather quickly as they are much shorter, reducing the content from previously 1/3rd of a PD per update down to 1/10th. So in theory, one update should take L&P about a month or two, depending on how much content and bonus events there are in each update. Thing is, now that L&P decided to add animations, a single update can easily take up to 5 months as we've seen in his latest release. He's included version 0.160 because the animations for 0.155 caused immense delays, so he decided to release both updates together, making it 20% of PD13 in close to 5 months.

We've no clue how many more of the remaining updates are gonna have animations, making it basically impossible to come up with accurate estimates for the completion of PD13. If you're lucky, PD13 could be completed in about a year. If not, make it 2 years. L&P said he'll plan ahead for animations from now on, which theoretically should reduce the delays for updates including animations, but knowing L&P it's more likely that pigs will suddenly learn how to fly.
