If L&P can actually get good at Blender then it's a far superior platform to Daz3d. There's just so much more you can do with it. In addition Cycles > IRay by a huge margin. While it sucks to have to wait so long and there can be a seemingly endless amount of debate and disgruntlement among us here in the peanut gallery (and apparently a growing level of discord on his Patreon), it's L&P's project and I'm in favor, generally speaking, of artistic freedom.
