We’re almost done developing the update. In five days, some of my patrons will gain access to the new version of the game and discover why the MC’s wife changed so much.

As I have seen so far, you are probably right.
I guess the BBC just used some kind of drug to control MC's wife and record the video while she was being controlled, then blackmailed her.
Or maybe the wifey are just a whore who once escaped from that life, but wake again by the BBC

I also completely agree with you. that under the influence of the drug, thoughts about the past awaken in her that she hid or wanted to completely forget. Most likely she was a call girl or escort. But I’m interested in the long-term relationship between GG and his wife, what will he do when his wife puts his mother under migrants in order to save herself. Or maybe it will just be a big orgy?
