WHILE having people grab videos and images that belong to other people and reselling
and profiting off it without a care. It's like I've been telling people, if you only want the porn
I can tell you each and every video used in this. You can easily Google them.
You can get a membership to the Vixen Media Group.. which Blacked is a part of.
Or Adult Time. Or JaysPOV. You know, give your money to the actual people involved in
making these video clips.

That's absolutely the craziest thing about them clutching their pearls about piracy. They would have no game at all without profiting off of other people's work. And how, exactly, do they think people are going to learn about their game to support it anyway? They can't distribute it through any other channels because they're violating copyright by the game's very existence.

It's just greed at the idea that any amount of money they could conceptually take isn't being given to them. The very same reason they charge 30 dollars for the first round of beta testers to play it. Which is more money than Stardew fucking Valley

At the same time, we would continue to distribute our code via subscription, just as we do now.

This is factual. And you charge for them through Patreon. Then you want to stop people
from getting it here by adding DRM via Patreon verification.

We sincerely hope that now you can sleep peacefully, no longer worrying about us protecting content that doesn’t belong to us. Now we protect only our code. Although, it can’t even really be called protection. We thought it would’ve been cracked long ago since it’s incredibly easy to bypass. We just wanted to see how much time it would take and how people here would react to it. The reaction was exactly what we expected, which made us very happy. I think we might try something similar again in a couple of updates, as the next update most likely won’t have any protection at all.

We’re also eagerly awaiting the next comment about what we’re doing wrong. Although, chances are, it’ll be about the bad storyline. By the waaaay, it’s been three months, and you still haven’t released the mod (storyline fix) for the game that you talked so much about. That’s disappointing… We’re really looking forward to it. We want to see your vision of the game. Or are you only good at writing comments?

If i'm not mistaken she wrote a while ago that she dropped that and started working on her own project instead of trying to fix yours for you.
