Players can't make the character's wife a whore, there is no such choice in this story, the author does it. She will always voluntarily fuck the boss and Samuil, she herself does not want to stop, the players have no way to stop her. In the club, she voluntarily climbs on a random guy's dick and does not want to get off it herself. In this episode, the players have a choice, but the choice is late, and the train has left, MC is ALREADY a cuckold slug.
Players can't make MC a cuckold, players can't choose MC's attitude towards his wife's numerous cheats. Players can't choose divorce or completely ignore his wife. I don't see the point in "MC runs around clubs and looks for a wife who fucks happily" episodes, the author (not the players) makes MC a brainless cuckold.

That is NOT the basis for NTR AT ALL. Netorare is so misused, miscategorized and misunderstood

Now replace the girl with a guy. Man on man NTR.
Replace him with another woman. Girl on girl NTR.

Didn't read most of this, but I will just say that Netorare doesn't necessarily need corruption of the love interest. Sufficiently there is a lot of corruption in Netorare and so that's where the confusion comes from; but netorare is just cheating as you said. You can argue semantics and say that the act of cheating is a corrupted act, but you can't say that the bull corrupting the wife is a necessary descriptor for Netorare. People cheat off their own free will all the time, without any external prompting which destroys your corruption assertion.
The person being cheated on, their reaction is what can change Netorare to Netorase (or, from Cheating to Cuckolding).
To consider A Wife's Life to not be Netorare is to fundamentally misunderstand the genre. Was the wife cheating? Was the MC against it? It's Netorare. As the series progresses it becomes more Netorase because the MC is corrupted into enjoying it.
