Missing a piece of the puzzle. The wife is deeply in love with and committed to her husband.Hi
All the NTR scenes are justifiable and hot except for the early sexual relationship between the FMC and the MC's boss
Was it just for money? They didn't seem to need that money so much, or am I missing a piece of the puzzle?
In this she makes some bad choices because she doesn't want him to lose his job. She knows how
hurt he will be if he can't provide for her. This is all revealed in the first days of the story where the MC
doesn't want her to work because he feels he should be able to solely provide for them but no one is
accepting his applications for the job he went to college for and feels overly qualified to do. This is why she
doesn't initially tell him what her job is. because she knows he will be angry with her and reject it (as well
as feel like he's failed her. This is why he asks Rick for help getting an job and Rick refers him to Chris.
But the MC sees the job as failure and something he shouldn't have to do. But it's money. The wife sees it
as something to make the MC feel accomplished and a good provider. That's why she plays down that she
makes more than him working at the camp. Because of the move to a new city and the job rejections, the MC
and FMC's sex life has started to fail. This becomes a major issue for them both and the wife has made it her
mission to resolve this situation any way she can while the MC decides it will work it's self out and refusing to do
much about it (like buy male mood enhancement pills, which he feels he doesn't need, aka denial.)
This is when he starts receiving mind control emails. The FMC is getting them at the same time.
I make all this sound deeper than it really is but the reality is this is why you guys and me subconsciously like
this story, because this is it's potential to be this deep.
Any way. This is where it goes off the rails for the first time. The FMC agreeing to Chris is a mix of potential
early mind control and her deep desire to do anything to keep her husband happy and feeling like he's providing
for the marriage. Something as I said he deeply fears and is causing the problems in their love life. Chris doesn't
know any of this and has no reason to even think this could be an option. This is the first sign of "metagaming"
the story by the devs. Characters doing things they have no reason to do just to do them. This is also the first
break in story pathing. Chris tells the MC NOT to fool around with his daughter, Katherine. If you do he shows
your wife the video evidence, upsetting her and she cheats on you with him to keep your job.
If you don't Chris fucks Henry's wife instead because Henry (implied) tries to get with Katherine but doesn't.
This is why Henry tries to talk the MC into becoming a cuck like him during their drunk night at the bar.
Henry explains that he messed up at work and Chris fucked his wife and they are having an affair.
This also leads to other actions Henry takes later. Because you are cheating on her with Katherine opens the
path of the FMC sleeping with someone not the MC if she gets drunk at the house party. Autumn knows what
you are doing and hates you for it so starts talking the FMC in to either leaving you or fucking around on you.
Because it's broken there's never a clear motivator as to why Autumn is against the MC. Just that the MC sees
her as a bad influence on his wife.
So if you don't engage in a romantic relationship with Katherine, none of this is supposed to happen. The
mind control and Samuil's marijuana are intended to be two separate causes for the events. The one involving
the camp and the one not involving the camp. Everyone tends to forget that the MC AND FMC are both being fed
the same mind control videos from the first moment, at the same time. It's not just Samuil's drug.
The mom, Kendra, is NOT getting the mind control videos. But it's implied that Autumn is. Which is why the MC
not only accuses her of sending the videos to him and his wife but suspects she's the Mystery Caller too.
I hope this helps and isn't even more confusing haha <3
