I'm with you on that, but I don't understand the following point.

Did you turn on Emily's POV?
This POV is kinda confusing sometimes.
The lines below are from when Emily goes to get her hair done.
Looks like she cheated on the MC? What do you think about these lines?
These dialogues occur in all paths, whether it's the anxiety path or the confidence path.
In fact, I looked at the script, and there are no conditions behind these dialogues, meaning they happen in any path.

Emily: Ohmygod Katherine. I love how my hair turned out! I can't wait to show Liam.
Katherine: You look amazing, Emily! It really suits you.
Emily: Are you really sure? Is it too much?
Katherine: About your hair or the other thing?
Emily: Honestly, both.
Katherine: That's what Luna told me. She didn't want to upset you like that.
Katherine: She didn't think you would go to your sister's either.
Emily: (Yeah, looks amazing!)
Emily: Thanks for bringing me my bag. I can't believe I forgot it.
Emily: I still don't believe it. Liam wouldn't do that.
Katherine: Haha!: Katherine: Don't you?
Emily: Liam... Fucking Luna in Vegas? But when? He wouldn't do that.
Emily: And not tell me? To hide something like that. All these years?
Katherine: I don't know what to tell you. Luna was very convincing about it.
Emily: I still don't believe it. Liam wouldn't do that.
Katherine: I wasn't even there. But it adds up. Why else would he hide meeting with her?
Emily: All these years, though. Even after our marriage. If it's true... it hurts.
Emily: I know we weren't togther yet, but... that was when it became real for me.
Emily: When I knew in my heart that Liam was the one. My soulmate.
Katherine: Yeah. I'm not going to lie, Emily. And I know I'm the last person to say this but...
Katherine: In a way it actually pisses me off. I know Finn and I have our issues.
Emily: Just makes me wonder if... if he's been keeping that from me what else has he lied about?
Katherine: You could confront him... or...
Emily: Or?
Katherine: Be who you are. The real you. The you that you hide. I've seen it. That fire in you that wants to be let out.
Emily: That was a mistake, Katherine. It's not happening again.
Katherine: You have them both in the palm of your hand. They practically worship you.
Katherine: And they definitely proved that...
Emily: Yes, yes, yes. We don't have to go over that again. It was a mistake.
Katherine: Was it? Be honest, Emily. Was it really? Or is it what you truly wanted?
Katherine: If it's one thing I've learned since you introduced me to Luna. Never lie to yourself.
Emily: I'm not like Luna. And I don't want to be.
Katherine: Then don't. Go your own way. Do you're own thing. Share that life with Liam even.
Emily: He wouldn't understand. And I won't jeapordize our marriage.
Katherine: Listen. I have my thing and Luna has hers. And you definitely have yours. I don't even have the words for yours.
Katherine: You won't know until you accept who you are and what you really need. Not just want. Need.
Katherine: Emily... Liam clearly has a side that he's good at hiding. Just like you. You really are the perfect couple.
Emily: We just need to open up and embrace it?
Katherine: You just need to open up and embrace it. Just like I did.
Katherine: Forgive him, Emily and he'll forgive you. Then you both can explore being deviants together.
Emily: We're not deviants, you bitch. Come on. I still have to pick up his stuff at the comic shop.

Here i described what i think about the Wife POV.

This situation with the club is very confusing, but the devs claim that Emily is still loyal!
I don't know what they mean by this. The wife pov only added more confusion to the situation.
According to the logic of the story designer, this is most likely a writer's move - when they keep us in suspense and don't tell us the whole story and we start to figure out for ourselves what could have happened. All hints indicate that Emily cheated or was unable to resist under the influence of drugs, by the same logic, the explanation of this situation may be simple, but we will probably find out later.
Just the simplest example of such logic is that it is too early in plot for Emily to cheat, since there is no reason for it, especially in a confident path!

Hey Everyone! There are some things I have to break my silence and
weigh in on and I'm sure you're all really happy to know that :)

First thing to get out of the way, Katherine is not talking about Night 13 at the hairdresser.
She wasn't there for the whole night, she left with Benjamin half way through for some sexy
time. She says this during their conversation at work. I know this is super unfair, I get that.
But she's referring to events that happen during the Prologue that I wrote for the Emily POV
that never happened in it. These events do not mean anything sexual happened. Just that
Katherine saw Emily in her full glory for a moment without inhibitions. And Emily regrets that
lose of control.
The only visible NTR in Prologue is Liam. That does not mean Emily is not slowly being
corrupted. There are a lot of factors at play in this. The system I designed is a "real" NTR system.
Which mean slow corruption of the MCs. It does not have to be directly sexual and...

REAL NTR IS ALWAYS AVOIDABLE. Not all NTR ends with someone's corruption. NTR is the
act of trying to steal someone away from the person that love and are committed and loyal to.
Emily is a rock of loyalty and commitment. To Liam and to her friends. Which means she's really
difficult to break. Unlike Liam who suffers from a lack of confidence and is easily manipulated through
his anxiety. Yes Emily knows this. Not the easy to manipulate part. Just that he gets really bad and toxic
when he gives into it. Which makes her pour more energy and attention into work, her coworkers and
less on being around that toxicity. A confident Liam will start to realize this and attempt to make changes.
An anxious Liam will use this as ammo for his arguments against her. Aka Gaslighting her.

Again, I know it's another element that isn't made very clear, but Emily was recently promoted to
Lead Marketing Manager of the Advertising Agency she works for. Which means long hours and dedication.
Which she prides herself on and Liam, both Confident and especially anxious feels she's being under
compensated for. She spends a great deal of time on her phone talking to clients, customers, designers,
programmers, coordinators. She honestly forgets her battery life isn't unlimited haha And she tends to
lose track of time. I won't fault you if you believe she might deliberately not want to engage Liam if
she knows he's in one of his moods. That is very possible.

Speaking of his moods. I treat writing his anxiety as the illness it is. It's not something intended to be
permanent. Like NTR being avoidable, Liam's anxiety is treatable. As long as he wants it to be. He as in you.
It's just a slow process for someone that has had it for so many years without proper treatment. And a recent
relapse. You can probably blame Luna. I won't fault you if you do haha.

I won't go into spoilers but there's more to Luna than just "homewrecker". There's more to this story.
Antagonists exist. Allies exist. Some quietly and some openly. The worst you won't see coming haha
And the best allies you won't expect. I know. More vague stuff, but we're only one chapter in.

Thank you for all the positive comments. We all really really appreciate it and you <3

So based on those last few posts, the pic that got sent by enlight432, the dev's saying the NTR can be dodged. So, nothing actually went down here. It was probably just some little intimate thing, like what you guys were saying – maybe a hug, or a close dance, or just some other simple stuff that Emily thinks is wrong.

Yes, nothing happened!
The devs talk about this openly, but here i am again confused: why?
Wouldn't it be better to let people build theories and speculations until the next update is released, keeping this situation a secret? But here they are most likely letting us understand what is what, because we probably won't find out what happened in the club in the next update and in general they are telling us what the story is about. Then why all these "secret" conversations?
At the moment, we need to accept that nothing critical has happened in the game and wait for the release of the next update.

Ohhh, so these lines were about the whole past, like they were talking about everything from Day 1 to where the game's at now during that moment with Katherine
Alright, cool, problem solved, thanks!
So basically, for some seconds, Emily just acted super friendly, like maybe said some flirty stuff as a joke, or did whatever else with some other dude, but nothing sexual, And since Emily's usually way more... proper, Katherine was just surprised, and Emily thinks it wasn't cool either.
Honestly, no idea where in the first update this fits in, but whatever. Just knowing nothing went down is good enough for me, being a sharing and swing fan and all.

You brought up a good point in the two posts above
I just wanted to highlight it
Yes, I completely agree with you. The wife's POV is meant to clarify and reveal the story, not to increase the mystery

That's why people who don't like ambiguity in the story always love this POV
And those who do like ambiguity don't activate this POV

But in this update, it was the opposite
So, those who read the wife's POV for the purpose of uncovering things neither reached their goal nor saw what they didn't want, which is more mystery :Kappa:

In short, the process is like this: one POV is dedicated to those who like clarity, and one POV to those who like ambiguity
Although I am grateful for adding this POV, I hope this important point won't be forgotten

Man, massive relief Silken dropped the truth bomb on this. I'm a sharing guy, dig? But I like my woman's action right here, in my line of sight. Someone getting handsy when I'm not looking? That's just asking for trouble. Head's on the chopping block. So yeah, happy we got the confirmation nothing actually happened.

It's hard to tell with the game this early, but a lot of the confusion and discussion on "did she or didn't she" is one way to build up drama and tension and give you more of a reason to play and figure that out. Being vague so far just means they haven't gotten too far into it yet, and maybe they are really good at generating enough false flags that it's hard to tell at this point with what we know.

Sorry, but I'm still not really following what you mean. Maybe I'm not remembering the story right at the moment, it's a bit complex.
Are you saying "NTR" here just means "trying" to steal someone? Are you talking about what Luna did in Update 1 that caused problems between Liam and Emily a couple of times? For a second there, I thought you were saying Emily had sex with someone else in Update 1, but then I saw you mentioned before that didn't happen and NTR can be avoided, so now I'm totally lost.
Liam Kiss Luna or not.

You raised a good point

We have a path
where Emily can cheat without Liam having a relationship with another woman, a path where Liam is insecure and weak
Do we have a path where Liam can cheat without Emily having a relationship with another man? A path where Liam is a strong but unethical but Cunning/Smooth Operato/Manipulative person -- implementing the logic for this path is difficult! --

In my opinion, since we have path 1, the existence of path 2 is both fair and attracts netori fans to this project
Hope so!!!
Gotta say, a threesome with us, Luna, and Katherine would be killer...

For the first part whouldnt makes sense to do the opposite? They are kinda fresh married couple and she already knows about his ilness.Shouldnt be more cautious and have better judgement when it comes to it?If she pours more energy away from the problem, she helps create the same anxienty and toxicity she want to avoid. If she loves him that much and chose to marry and stay with him she should actively try to help him change his ways if he is willing. And as you say we talking about an ilness not childish tantrums.Thats the very definition of loyalty and commitment.

For the second part i agree with you up to a point.Of course getting a promotion that big would mean everything you say but again i must point out she knows her husbands problem.Yea it whould be alot harder for her think about her husbands problem
but its not really impossible to have your cell plugged in for awhile to have it available.Hell she needs for the all the reasons you just listed. And trust me there is no way a manager in any job has a dead battery. Its literally the life force of the work.

Now about anxienty as an ilness i will say from first hand its a tough tough one.I have a cousin who her whole life been battling with clinical anxienty. She 51 yo and unfortunately she never had the family she wanted and she never found someone to battle the ilness with her.She still lives with her parents and working from home. She been in therapy her whole life and of course she always has her bad days and her good days. But when the family gathers up,we her family that loves her dearly always try to make her time with us as stress free as we can.We avoid do things tha can trigger her.Its an ongoing battle but we love her dearly.

My point that is what Emily sould be trying to do with her huband.Hell i know its not always possible to help and build your life around it but she chose him.Its an active choice she made when she married him.Unless its not the case and everything came up after they married but still alot of what i said can be made if she really loves him.I am playing devils advocate here i know lol.

On another note thank you for always trying to find time and answer things.Helps alot :)

It's not about cheating. It's about corruption. Both MCs can be corrupted by other people.
And choose to corrupt or be corrupted. Starting with the suspect zero, Luna.
If you kissed her, you are on the NTR path. Like it or not. It does not matter if you are Confident
or Anxious. Corruption effects all systems of the game and is ever present. People who think
everything is the same no matter what path are wrong. Very very wrong. hahaha
And Emily is not stupid. Or blind. And has people telling her things that may or may not be true.
Question is, how much does she actually believe in or trust you. Especially when you blame her for
things she may or may not be doing. This is a reality in A Wife's Loyalty.
If you've completed Part 1 you know the dynamics between Liam and Emily.
Please don't spoil it for those that haven't caught up.

"Cheating" only happens when one of the MCs gives into their corruption and loyalty to each other
no longer matters to them. They want the corruption more than they want each other. It goes both ways.

Falling into Corruption or into Cheating, after ONE slipout? Yeah...it has really nothing to do with reality. Sorry. But every "normal" Couple would talk it out and find a solution...together...maybe even forgive the slipout. There is always a reason behind our behavior why we did something. Communication is key if two people are in a relationship!!!....and not like "Hey..you kissed a friend of mine, now i am gonna fuck everything that has a pulse"!!

Its not after 1 slip up its after 2 years of stresses and the past rumors of luna and the mc wearing on her.

Nah, no way Emily's gonna cheat on Liam just 'cause Luna gave him a blowjob way back when.
First off, they weren't even together back then, so Liam didn't cheat on her. Simple as that.
Second, hiding that stuff from Emily? Not a messed-up thing for Liam to do at all. Seriously, who in their right mind spills the beans to their wife or hubby about every past fling they've had?
So yeah, if Emily actually cheats on Liam over this, she's just shooting herself in the foot character-wise. I'd totally lose respect for her, wouldn't see her as mature or awesome anymore
Anyway, didn't really need to go on about all that. 'Cause we shouldn't forget, you can totally dodge that NTR stuff. The player just gotta make the right calls as the MC to steer clear of it.

Its not just the luna thing. Its all the other issues over the last 2 years. In your pt did liam go home for dinner with emily or not?

and so far as far as we know emily has not cheated. The photos and videos in my opinion are luna trying to drive a wedge between them and play on his insecurities.
But Liam also has to be aware of what he does so he does not push Emily into someone (ie her two male co workers or boss ect ) due to treating her poorly

Liam and Emily are doing great on my playthrough.
I took a path where the ntr variable was zero, meaning I always made the best possible choice, always went with the confident options, and of course, I went home on our anniversary and all that, because I'm a fan of the sharing route, not cheating, grudges, and all that stuff.
And in my run, when they went to the psychiatrist, only the MC talked about his childhood stuff. Nothing else came up, not a peep. So yeah, even that part went great and everything.

Hopefully what we see in the next eps will clear many things up. And I do hope we get to see far more of what Emily is doing, hell would not mind seeing the day 13 night club events told by emily at the therapy session
