It’s buggy atm. You can only choose the son and the sister of your wife. On all other characters is the hole menu useless.
Officially the version that is handled here as v0.4.9 is actually v0.4.5 part 5.
I'd assume 0.4.8.2 referes to "v0.4.8 + Bugfix #2".

Character stats lost their meaning dozens of updates ago up to the point were events of later updates do not even change any stats, no matter what the character is doing.Thank you!

With a bit BWC hypno spam the wife becomes a QoS with 0 points in BBC. xD
edit: could be a glitch, but could also be intentional.
since update v0.4.7 the MC's new girlfriend and her parents and later on Mike too in the noAddWife Alpha route didn't got a working "info" button.
the dev might want to get rid of them since they no longer serve a purpose.
edit2: the daugther didn't even got a WifeSpy App target entry after adding her in the Alpha branches, just saying...seems like the dev didn't even considered any alpha content there.
The mother's branch just vanishes without even getting added to MC's app and the dev didn't even bothered himself to add any conversation to end the branch properly for the alpha routes since v0.4.7

It seems that there is no news about Updated Only (v0.4.8 -> v0.4.9) and we have to download 10 GB
The post i've quoted with the pixeldrain link is the Compressed Updated Only (v0.4.8 -> v0.4.9), which could save you from downloading 9.6 GB extra.
Tryed restarting the MC's "Salim debt" branch?
Or if you keep paying him you just have to stop to pay the monthly debt to progress.

For how often i've seen this question here even as someone who doesn't play this game on his phone i'm kind of sure the awnser you are looking for is:
rename the "AWifesPhone-archive.0.3.5.rpa " simply into " archive.0.3.5.rpa "
edit: would be pretty cool if someone would add this line below the android download link since 1/5 of the posts here is just people asking why the android version doesn't work.
