The payoff is not worth the grind, game ran fine after ending a lot of branches, but the branch system is a mess making the story a mess, one minute the wife is mad at you and 2 seconds after she's fine! that system needs to go and make it so you focus on whatever path you want! Its a porn game, not a 60 hour rpg! i'll come back in a year or two.
Fair enough. Might still be worth checking out the new version once it drops since it's supposed to finally iron all of this out, auto time progression etc. Might still be a buggy mess, we'll see.

As for the grind I would suggest any newcomers to wait for the new patch the dev is making the game a lot smoother and making the process much faster. However who knows when the update is out it was meant to be out 4 days ago.

someone said monday and no more resetting the clock on the website for the time being. oh ink said they arent going to bother with release dates til updates are actually complete from now on

If everything goes well, then tomorrow, in the evening, a few of the most active members on the server will get a chance to play the game as testers. Of course, only if they are willing to test it. After that, once any bugs (if found) are fixed, the game will become available to everyone. (This is from Discord today.)
This lack of transparency from Bloody Ink is going to kill the public's interest one day or another. Another similar game, A Wife's Life, simply delivered everything we expected from A Wife's Phone. But without a huge pollution of paths/characters without much to add and a story that never seems to progress.
Agree to disagree, the game you mention is utter garbage.. I do believe their releases has gone smoother which is nice but the game, the writing is simply terrible imho. I couldn't slog through the release I tried while having gone through wife phone from start at least 5 or 6 times by now..

I’ll start with the bad one: I’m forced to delay the timer again because I’m not making the deadline. I had to spend some extra time working on the remaining apps, as well as adding the ability to set any image from the gallery as wallpaper on the phone. This took me longer than expected, so I won’t be able to release the update today.
The good news: the release is DEFINITELY happening before February 20, and the game will be available to everyone right away. I’ll set the timer for February 20, but that will be the absolute latest date. There’s just a little bit left to finish before the update is ready. Hopefully, I’ll be able to release it even earlier. and then he does it again in 3 days I take it out nothing I don't take it out and time it says this is the hell.

Waiting sucks, The amount of time I've waited when it comes to BI is minuscule compared to others on here where they get covid 39 every a year and have like 7 dead moms. I want to see how the game plays with the new changes. Hopefully, its like many of us have asked since around update 4 when the clicking fatigue kicked in. BI updates are still the largest. I can be patient.
The level of illness and family death in porn game developers is frankly astounding. If anyone I was related to suddenly got into the industry I'd move far away from them.
BI has been honest in that the update just isn't ready yet and given the hurdles the teams been given recently I understand why so I think they earned a bit of leeway.
