In essence, in the Alpha branch, if you add a wife, you save her. But the wife as the second hero stops being active...
Could have turned out to be a great intrigue!
This is again about the issue of salad in the author's head and the unwillingness to work with the existing script material.

Yeah, as I recall, this felt more like a background ending for her (just like kicking her out on another branch and the wife was "led out to pasture") essentially to be forgotten. Once the wife is out, the game is over in my opinion.

edit: correct me if I'm wrong but, didn't the MC tell his wife his plans to get back at Salem and the others when she found out he was fucking Salem's wife way back in .3.5 or something?

That sounds about right. I might try again, just before the revamp to see. (But, there comes that pesky wife ending again fading her out of the story.)...meh, probably.

Working as a secretary or teacher (paths-Alpha, APP+) she does not fuck if she is transferred to work in her new company in time (at the first signs). But there are surprises there too. And this is version 0.6.5. In version 0.0.7. she simply ceases to be an active NPC and has only one branch with Christina, sometimes she pops up in the main quest like a sluggish amoeba, and there are photos on Faxtogram.

In this mess, it’s not at all difficult to miss something!
I already wrote about this, the author doesn't bother to form clear psychotypes of the main characters and their stories. Therefore, when he starts adding something, he forgets how his hero behaved before and what conclusions he made. The lack of in-game statistics in the complex interweaving of different solution options and different characters gives the mess that is in 0.6.5.
But in 0.0.7, the author does not solve this issue because he simply removes confusing paths, thereby depriving the game of color and making it boring and uninteresting. The main quest places a number of emphasis on reactions from the now defunct sub-quests and they naturally seem ridiculous.
Then, in order to somehow fill the game, the author decides to add unnecessary NPCs that have no relation to the main plot at all, further increasing the mess.
I repeat, all that the author needs to do at the moment is to have a complete polished script of the finished material. Check it, edit certain decisions and development options, and tie secondary storylines to the main plot.

Considering how much I've complained about this'n that, I do have to agree this game could have been so much better with just a wee bit more care. I guess that's why I've held on for so long, just hoping that maybe...someday...

For netori in the game (Alpha path) there are five targets: Christina, Talay, Lena, Nicole, Rai. Our MC interacts with all of them or suggests interaction. In version 0.0.7, Lena and Rai are completely inactive. Christina, Talay and Nicole can be used depending on the player's choice and desire.

Shouldn't Christina be more of a George thing? Besides, she's more used than the welcome mat at a GoodYear tire store. Talay would be Salem's problem, since MC has her fucking all the help. Ivar has his problems with Nicole. But, even whittling them down to just the other two, the netori (and I have to use that word with wide strokes since the definition seems to change with every dev) for the sis and Rai seems to get lost in the breeze.

There is a romance with Christina and she is enchanted by MC.
With Talay, it depends on the decision how to attract her, but in both cases, there is a romance with MC.
With Lena, in 0.6.5. the entire path to saving the niece is built, in 0.0.7 she is not active.
With Natalie, there is also a Romance if you add her to the APP.
There remains Rai, I have not seen a branch with her at all, but it seems that otherwise she would have different stats.

I understand you perfectly, actually the game is about the wife's phone! And she should be the main active NPC, but it is what it is. That's why I'm so unhappy with the choice of actress for the role of the wife. I want her to evoke admiration and desire, regardless of her actions, then the experiences of the MC, and especially the Alpha, will be deeper and more acute. His decisions will be more controversial and more emotional.
Add a working APP to the game.
