I guess you have the Julia #1 branch in mind that lead into the Jenna+MC Feminization branch.

When you save Julia by beating up Paul the Julia #1 is gone and you play the Julia #2 romance branch and the Paul(a) branch.

Your main issue is a long outdated savegame, the Wife+Janna branch doesn't show up if the Wife isn't in the app, or has been removed due the changes to the branching structure.

Yes, an outdated savegame stays an outdated savegame even if you keep playing.

I agree with you, because of all the disconnected story branches the game isn't just convoluted but also confusing because different stories that even contradict each other happen at the same time. It's like reading 6 books at the same time and after each paragraph you roll a dice to find out which book you continue to read next.

This is why to be honest I hadn't touched the game in a while after everything with 4.7 and now with 6.0 I actually feel in some ways its gotten worse not better.

I do agree with you that at this point though its like rolling a 20 sided dice to see what happens in your game next.

I don't want to be polemic about the fact that the game would not have an offline version, because the developer has all the rights to do so in order to not have game leaks before the launch date.
That's totally normal. I would do that too.
But there is something i would like to point out.

I've been in the internet for almost my whole life (and it's almost three decades) and there is something that I've learnt from it.
It doesn't matter how big you are, how much money you have or how clever you are.
Internet is based on codes and there is no code in the world that couldn't be cracked/decoded.
There will always be someone more clever than you. No matter what.
It's only a matter of time until someone manages to rip the game from the online version in the site and make it available offline again.

A solution could be to publish the game when it's completed, but in this way you will not have the possibility to have feedbacks which, i think, are essential for you.

Another solution could be having always a new version ready when you publish the older one.
Example:
v0.6 - Publishing today
v0.6.5 - Already finished
v0.7 - Working on.
What are the pro and cons of this method? That you can fix bugs and add new features thanks to feedbacks and polls only after two versions have already been released (thus after 3-4 months), which is not recommended as bugs must be fixed.

So, in the end, it's like a chicken and egg loop

i supported the Dev but didnt or lets say coldnt follow him to his new platform after he got banned from patreon.
Since i read that he will do the game only as online version i am not interested anymore because its impossible for me to play
on my tablet which i cant use online at the places i am used to play such games.
Sad to hear that...
But to be fair the version 0.6 now is free for everyone...u can try if u like it as online version

Not to play devil's advocate, but it also deletes "Uploading" inconvenience to the dev. Not to say i like it, im probably never go for online version until its like 2-3 updates into my favorite lines, but it is what it is. And also yeah, when it releases there, it takes a value off of big time subscriptions, which is not ideal for a dev who had to move from patreon and likely has a budget issue now

this is a very weak reason, because downloading itself does not take much time on several hosting sites. the fact that this makes the subscription game useless is a truer take, but that doesn't change the fact that it's just a terrible offer for the price of AA games every month. And in some regions, this is the price of an AAA game


p.s. of course, you can choose lower subscription levels or wait for a free release, I'm not talking about the fact that the product as a game is not worth it (however, the price is still too inadequate), but that for such money you are offered a lagging game, because otherwise it will be pirated (but I'm sure it's it still won't have a positive effect on sales, because those who pirated it won't buy it anyway)

Write now for me each branch shows progress all the other branches to continue and some show this the end of the current content. There around 5 branches free but they're dependent on the other branches and hence I'm not able to move forward in the game even if i forward a week. Any suggestions? Or is it the end of 0.6.0 version?

After v.0.35 I tried a bit (for an hour) v0.6 ... not the web version....
It is so buggy, that I had to add console and developer modes in my simple "Date Display" patch/mod...
and added instructions on how to use the console to invoke events / force progress the game

Revenue from publicity in the future.
From a sort test I run, the discomfort is happening, from extremely bad coding (at least I hope that it is not intentional)

Downloading and extracting an 102mb zip archive (uncompressed 129mb) in memory, does not justify 3.8gb of ram usage without even starting the game.
And after it started it went over 5.4gb, at the 3rd? event/first wife message (what work outfit to choose)...

Running the public 6.0 web version is a big no no, unless you want to experience, how your system will behave under a buffer overflow attack...

edit:
Bloody Ink the buffer overflow seems to be caused by the first line of "renpy.js"

var Module=typeof Module!="undefined"?Module:{};

and the subsequent if arguments until the first return command.
The webpage tries to find a not defined file and goes to an infinite loop

Found the problem....
...an example on how a simple string and a missing file can cause a buffer overflow....
Online version 0.6
The culprit is on file "script_0_2.rpy" line 93
"if persistent.xmas_event_finished < 2 and renpy.exists('xmas content/new_christmass_phone_0_2.rpy'):"
python tries to find (since it does not exist in the memory) the file "new_christmass_phone_0_2.rpy" and causes the buffer overflow in ram.
file does not exist in ram -> the browser checks the site -> gets the response "file does not exist" -> [Violation] 'setTimeout' handler warning on line 1 "renpy.js" -> file does not exist in ram ->....
...
... and so on in an infinite loop.

Then, I guess you like playing online and not offline, since they are almost identical.
Add/replace the "script.rpy" attached in the zip below in the game folder and delete the "xmas conent" folder and you'll be able to play the not "crappy" online version.... offline....

I have 0.3.5 and 0.5.5 rpa in game directory created using 0.6 apk....it works....
I'm bad in program but it works for me.

Ripping/scraping a web renpy game is not hard at all.
But why do they use the compressed files instead of the hq ones? (larger files usually discourage/prevent distribution)
