Agree with first one.
But the second wont be true unless ED can make it his main source of income, and not second work/hobby.

And I dont mean his current work should pay less than patreon atm. :KEK:

That's the problem I have with this kind of "development"...

It begins with: "I have a dream" and "I want to share with you".
Soon the hobby behaves as an income and the people shared with are counted in Tiers.
Sorry, that's not the way it has to be - why should it possible to live from my hobbie?

And even if that's the case - you drop your job and have to do everything to keep money floating?
No, that's not the way it hast to be - I'll pay for a completed experience but not for other people's hobbie.

I don't think so....

It's not depending of income, it depends of importance and priority.
I knew many people in my age, which spending most "free time" into gaming.
4 to 6 hours a day, on weekend much more - beside a fulltime job - got my point?

Look at Star Citizen... development for ever (12 years now!), got nealy one billion from the crowd.
And didn't ever selling on game - and won't be in my opinion.

That's why so many games here were abandoned - no more money to earn from the crowd.

And the development of VN's? Sorry, a little writing and some renders - that couldn't be so much effort.
OK, Pale Carnation for example is quality wise (incl. state of the art animations) in it's own class, of course.

Loving the game so far (although I'm sure I'm numerous versions behind), but WTF??
We miss her speech?
We miss her graduation??
We don't even see her get her damn diploma???

Please tell me I'm wrong about this.

I'm sorry to say this, but the more I play, the more certain I am that the graduation ceremony and her speech were just completely skipped.
It only really bothers me because it was set up so much. There were so many references to it coming up (I never even learned if/how she afforded her gown!) and then suddenly so many references to it in the past tense... but we don't see it. We don't know what she said. We didn't get choices during the speech to shape what life advice she shared with her fellow graduates. It wasn't as bad as when GoT spent years setting up for the final season and then decided to fuck the audience over and "subvert expectations" with utter nonsense. Still, it was something I was expecting (if not looking forward to):

*As Kheram suggested in a comment above, giving the player choice to decide whether she's fully clothed, just wearing underwear, or going rogue under her graduation gown could spice things up without affecting the renders. If fully clothed, she regrets it because it's too hot. If nude, she is feeling too exposed. If in underwear, she feels ridiculous for not going to one extreme or the other.

Also there is one thing on patreon that bother me, what wrong with Steph face on a sub plan?
Is she drunk, did she get a nose freeze burnt/frostbiten. :KEK:
My guess it's just a shadows, but still.

I honestly haven't looked at the patreon tier pics since the afternoon I scrambled them together. You're right, the light and shadows on Steph's face look a little weird when the photo is scaled down like that - I think I was going for a sun dappled effect or something. Plus it was done using the first version of her model (she's on version 5 now). I should redo it. Thanks for letting me know!

I can't tell you how many times I've been playing Abnormal and thought, "Oh, that's a mistake" and then five, ten, sixty minutes later I'm realizing, "Woah! That wasn't a mistake. That was actually brilliant!"
You've repeatedly impressed me, and repeatedly shown the limits of my imagination.
So, whenever you feel the desire to say "my efforts didn't align with your imagination" please take that as a compliment (most of the time ;) )
