- Thanks to your comments fixed a bug with female NPCs coming to visit MC's house. Partially rewrote the code of this mechanics. We also rewrote the mechanics of receiving gifts from NPCs, excluding variants when MC could get an expensive gift even at a low level of relations with NPCs.
- Those of you who have been following the development of the game will remember that when the MC comes home, she can catch her roommates cheating on her with other NPCs. We've tried many times to make this available to roommates as well, but each time we ran into some problems or poorly working mechanics. Finally, there was a solution to the problem and we rushed to make a new mechanic. The main problem was that the verification of the roommate's return home and the initialization of actions on his part happened after the fun was over. With the new game mechanics, this can happen at any point in the fun. When an NPC returns home, the roommate will no longer wait for the MC to finish his interactions with other NPCs, but will immediately create a scandal and begin to work things out with the MC. However, not all NPC roommates will do this. NPCs who have the first type of character and low activity may wait for a more appropriate time to settle the relationship.
- In a previous post we made it possible for roommates to interfere with MC when she tries to flirt with other NPCs and this severely limited MC's options. With continued work in this area, we have remedied the situation. If MC's roommate or husband is present, NPCs will be wary of flirting with her or openly asking her to have fun. Some of them will realize that MC is not alone on the date, some NPCs will not want to ruin the relationship with the roommate as they value their friendship, so if MC does not provoke them, the roommate will keep her completely safe. If MC does start to provoke and flirt with the NPC, then despite the roommate's attempts to stop her, she will be able to continue her intentions by sacrificing a certain number of relationship points. Ignoring the roommate's attempts to stop her may lead to a situation where the NPCs present stop seeing him as a serious nuisance and agree to start having fun with the MC. Of course, this behavior of the MC will be judged accordingly and her reputation will suffer. At this level, several mechanics will start working at once and it is very difficult to predict the outcome of what will happen next.
- Since MC roommates can be both male and female, and companies can consist of both same-sex and opposite-sex NPCs, we had to take all this into account when creating new roommate behaviors. But we didn't stop there, and as promised we made the mechanics of creating a cohabitant cuckold. Continuing with our intentions to organize fun in a company where an NPC cohabitant is present, the MC can involve him or her in the process, even if he or she doesn't want to. One must realize that this is a very delicate process. Let's face it, cohabitants of the third character type or those with high activity are more likely to go for a broken relationship than agree to share the MC with other NPCs. The MC needs to be sure that her roommate has low activity and is inclined to be submissive. The MC will also need to stockpile enough relationship points to organize and engage her roommate in group fun. She will probably have to make several such attempts to get the roommate to realize his new position and stop obstructing her intentions.
- In addition to the ability to force the roommate to be present when MC is having fun with other NPCs, we have added another opportunity for MC to try to change the roommate's behavior. During the scandal when the roommate accuses MC of immoral behavior, she has the opportunity to try to shift the blame to him. It is desirable by this point to understand the type of character and degree of activity of the roommate, because in place of the expected result you can only aggravate the situation. We had to redesign the game mechanics of the roommate scandals to make it work properly.
- If the MC is able to give a roommate a new character trait, he will no longer prevent the MC from having fun with other NPCs in his presence. Typically, during group fun, these NPCs will choose the role of observer and enjoy it. They will no longer berate MC for her immoral behavior except when she is having fun at home with other NPCs without their knowledge, which will be perceived by them as cheating.
- As you have already realized that all of the above mainly applies to male NPC roommates. Female NPC roommates have not received additional character traits yet. This will most likely happen at the stage of adding fetishes and expanding the game mechanics of submission and domination.
- After studying your comments, we have added an option for the MC to obtain a divorce decree on her own if she did not attend the court hearing. To do this, she needs to visit the court located in the southwest district.
- The old game mechanic of having fun with a group of male NPCs has gone to the trash garbage can. Instead of it, we created and added a new mechanics to the game taking into account all your wishes and recommendations. Which allows you to use animations instead of static images.
- Much attention was paid to the behavior of male NPCs in group fun. Added accounting of their activity, which allowed to get rid of most of the random variables. Now the most active NPCs will be the first to decide how events will unfold base on their preferences, forcing other NPCs to adjust to their choices. A completely new variable accounting system allows you to easily track the actions of each NPC in the group, avoiding the problems and errors that were inherent in the old mechanics.
- The MC has been given more expanded rights and new interactions with NPCs. She can refuse to continue having fun with them or resist their onslaught if NPCs are no longer in control. The player can easily move from the phase of complete submission to the phase of control, choosing how events will unfold as they see fit. Naturally, the characters and activities of the NPCs who interact with her will have to be taken into account. For example, characters with a tendency to dominate will not necessarily succumb to her manipulations in pursuit of their own goals.
- Made and added over 100 new animations to the game. This is not the final version. If you approve of the new game mechanics, we will continue to work on increasing the number of animations or replacing them with more appropriate ones for each situation. You should understand that creating animations takes a huge amount of time.
- We paid special attention to the emotions and experiences of the MC. We tried to reduce the information part of the process as much as possible, giving you the opportunity to get into the role and independently comprehend everything that comes from the game, using only small hints.
- The launch of the new mechanics did not go without problems. At one point, despair and regret visited me when I realized that it was too much work for such a short period of time. I had to spend a lot more time than planned to get the new mechanics working. I also found a lot of bugs in the single male NPC fun mechanics, which will be updated to reflect the new features. I apologize for not immediately responding to your comments and clarifying your questions.
