Red indicates rented apartments. Blue indicates purchased apartments. Red should probably be changed.
In the second save, the purchased apartment and the washing machine in it will not be there initially. You have to go to the supermarket and buy it.
The first save(New) was alternate start with male cohabitant. It appears if you go from hallway->bathroom. If you go from any other room -> bathroom the washing machine isn't there.
