I agree with your last statement, and I also don't like the turn Route A took. Part of that is how she appears unobtainable overall, and part of that is the scene itself. Maybe I missed it at some point, but I don't recall a warning specifically for it before it happened, and I don't want to check at the risk of seeing it again. I had to stop playing not too long after it happened because it kept lingering in my mind.

As I was mainly playing for that route, even though I did play the others some, I'm going to have to put playing this on hold. I'll still be checking on the changelogs and comments after each update, but that pretty much killed the game for me.

Yes, Misa is presented as the heroine of the game and the protagonist's ultimate goal.
There are more than two routes, but Misa kills herself in the main route, while in all the others she hunts you.
The game makes it very clear that the protagonist's power is evil, but having a villainous protagonist is not a bad thing, what's bad is when you make him (us, the player) "lose".
ABSOLUTELY, she IS unobtainable, and that's stupid for a porn game. It is my sincere opinion that we, the player, are not the protagonist of this story, but Misa. The impression that the dev leaves is that he doesn't want to "give" Misa to anyone, either she kills herself or she becomes the goddess. Just look at the dev's avatar lol.
