the game is running afoul of the input device bug from the engine. my mouse is wireless with a docking station and that alone makes the game receive UP+LEFT all of the time. To play i need to disconnect my mouse.

I had never heard of this, and it sounds way too specific to be considered a "bug". I also have a wireless mouse and I can play perfectly.

That may be because your mouse is triggering the engine Controller Input. Try pressing F1 and change them when playing the game?

nah doesnt work. the engine recognizes some direct input from the driver thats not actually there or something.
